New QB might save the Goofers31 total yards in the first half to 3-5 Nebraska...
Does Minny even get bowl eligible at this point?

No, they are not.Gophers are losing to a 3-5 team with their 3rd string QB.
No they are not, again. And UMn's making their come back with their 2nd/3rd string QB.Gophers are losing to a 3-5 team with their 3rd string QB.
Well, that is actually a valid point to be discussed.Fleck shoud be fired simply for playing Morgan all year

What did you think about Fleck's choice to punt the ball when it was 4th and 1 late in the 2nd quarter? I thought that was a pussy call.
I sort of still like the idea of him and his energy and his overall philosophy being the leader of the fb program, but if he'd give up more control to his coordinators, or are they the ones making some of these dumb calls?Very pussy but he almost always does that.
Except when he randomly did it at his own 30 vs purdue in a shot gun formation fucking Kramer.
Guy needs someone else to coach for him.

The 3 of them, when all on the same sideline, were something like 24-3 going into the Purdue game. Coordinators can't help it when top players go down to injury. But you might be right, good coordinators adjust and know how to use the players they have available. So I might not disagree with you, I'm a little less adamant about it than you.Thats the issue I think the current coordinators also suck. But its his game plan.
If you can only have one game plan which is the RPO offense we run you cannot have a QB like Morgan especially with the shitty receivers the gophs currently have too.

Mo can go 6.5 yards on 3rd down, but Fleck doesn't trust him to get another .5 yards on 4th?Bitch ass Fleck strikes again.
Even Mo getting on him.
Guy plays not to lose, he doesnt play to win

We dropped a few that could have changed the game, too.Survived. Lucky it was nebraska and the dude dropped it.

Well, you could argue that he was trusting his defense. Even if he made that catch that still wouldn't have given them a td, right? I was just listening to the game so I am not sure if he had an open field before him, and didn't a Gopher defender have something to do with him not making that catch?Well yeah the gophers receivers suck. MBS shouldnt even be on a high school team.
Im just saying the drop is what saved Flecks cowardly decision.
I think we can put this thread to bed. The dream is over. Not only does Minnesota NOT rule the world of college football, they barely ruled the field against the worst Nebraska team since 1957.
You could say that about every single decent player who ever played the game that didn't play for a Natl Title winning team, and EVERY SINGLE NEBRASKA player since 1998?Mo Ibrahim should have gone to a good program. Such a waste of talent.
