I voted for Michigan, but not sure I would go that far. It's more the assumption that by "4th team" the follow things have taken place:

Georgia lost to Alabama
Michigan beat Ohio St and won the Big10
Oklahoma wins the Big12

So Georgia losing the SECCG to Alabama removes them, especially since that's 2 losses.

Next you have Oklahoma and Michigan with 1 loss each, and Michigan has a much better SoS.

As such, Michigan gets to get bent over by Alabama.

Rather it was Oklahoma, so I think I'll be hoping you beat Ohio St for the first time in forever and then lose to whatever Big10 west team is there if I'm being honest.

I voted Michigan, but Harbaugh has lost two games in November the past few seasons.

It's going to take a "seeing is believing" moment for me. I feel like it is MUCH more likely to happen this year, than in past years though.

I am surprised at the number of Michigan votes ... I know I voted, but I’m a homer. I hope we can be worthy of this respect.

well, to be fair, you phrased the question, "who WOULD be in the playoff", not "who SHOULD be in the playoff" .... it probably would have made a difference in how some voted. Not me, but maybe some.

OU has the O, but OUr D has yet to reach puberty. We'd be a waste of a CFB spot at this time.

UGA has the resume, other than the loss to LSU. Not sure if the CFP committee is ready to put both Bama and UGA in again unless UGA can beat Bama in the SEC CG.

Michigan lost early and have looked better as the season goes on.

As good as Oklahoma’s offense has looked, is about as good as Michigan’s defense has looked. Michigan’s Offense is improving now that it seems Harbaugh has taken the handcuffs off of Pattersen and let him play QB that best suits him. I would say Michigan’s offense is couple of notches above Oklahoma’s defense. Georgia will be sorted out in the CCG. Lose and they are done. Win and it will be interesting to see what the committee does with Bama. They have been so dominate all year long that it will be a tough pill to swallow for a lot of people to see them left out despite looking like the best team 12 weeks out of the year.

Michigan shits the bed somewhere.
Oklahoma wins out.
Georgia will have two losses.

Oklahoma gets the nod and gets their ass pounded.

People that argue there should be more than 4 teams aren’t paying attention. There were only 3 worthy last year and only really 2 this year (ND will get beat down as well).

OU is a wildcard, you never know just how gay they'll be on defense.

Probably UM. OU and UGA have been there already. Committee will put some new blood in there. Plus UM's alum and fan base will sellout their allotment quick and will travel and sellout hotels, just like UGA and OU would.
Committee isn’t going to stick teams in just for new blood

meeeechegan :gaah:

I hate saying that. But their only loss was to N.D. on the road. Hopefully that changes on 11/24 but I doubt it.
You always have the Browns to look forward to. Atleast they finally fired Hue jackman

I voted Michigan but think Oklahoma is better equipped to upset the top 2 seeds.

Eh, after the last two blowouts, beating Oklahoma has become like beating Furman for us. Michigan and Notre Dame could both be interesting though.

And OKlahoma hasn’t lost a game in November in 5 years. It’s michigan if they win out though, I just don’t think they will.

Harbaugh has lost two games each November the past two years. It’s his worst month Of the season since coming to Michigan. That’s why I’m a little concerned.

It’s Michigan right now. They are becoming a complete team. OU is just an offense and coming off a game of giving up 40+ with a back-up QB for half the game. There is still time for things to change
