Looks like our quartet of starters will have to get the job done and carry the load tonight with our top 6th man out tonight.

This team is just not allowed to enjoy a good moment for long. Someone ALWAYS has to go down every game at some point or another -- the word troublesome to describe the injury is similar to when describing the nagging issues Winslow out before declared out for season

This is/was a game you could've and should've established Hassan early and done it all night - so far, the Heat are refusing to do that - not executing on mismatches and getting beat on them the other end

3 point lead after 1 -- the usual uneven start for the Heat. But not that bad

JJ has rediscovered the art of going to the basket and its working - doing a lot less attempting passes and its working for him and the team

Finally McGruder making himself useful on offense -- if only that could continue - Good contributions from Babbitt as well but its not been as bad for him as McGruder offensively

One of the biggest differences I noticed in Hassan this year is his energy on the bench. I love it. None of that pouting shit we saw last year.

Of all people, James Johnson with the dunk of the night. This one is all but over. 13 point lead with time to go but the Heat are finding ways to turn on the defense when needed to stop potential lengthy runs

Agreed. But as I always say, thats easy to do when things are going well for you AND your team -- When one or the other has not been favorable, he has had his moments on then bench and post-game locker-room media sessions.

He needs to show the same reactions when its not all so pretty - thats the next step.

Hopefully he continues the growth.

A season like this one is a good barometer for a player of his caliber and potential - its a test. His future and that of the teams depends on so much out of him in the most difficult of situations.
