Shot at 50-win season? Would be quite the accomplishment after the season we had last season. Though I am sure some nameless, AWOL idiot on this board would probably think otherwise and is probably currently on suicide watch with the Heat on their way to the playoffs. He probably thinks this season is a failure because we didn't play for draft picks as he seemed to want earlier in the season.

Anyhow, 2-1 record on the trip seems reasonable especially if we are down a few guys -- which, it doesn't seem like will be the case given the upcoming updates from Ira Winderman I will soon provide. A sweep of the road trip is possible. If there is a loss, more than likely on the last game of the trip. There is sometimes a letdown on the last game of a trip no matter how long or short the trip.

Agree and in addition to that, Portland is not only clearly the best team we'll face on this trip but we also face them on the 2nd night of a B2B

The Heat haven't clinched anything nor are they locked in to any particular spot - so until they do that they should not sit anyone out unless severely injured.

This could be one of those the Heat really deserve to lose. Time to get away from Winslow and Richardson. For as good as they are and have been of late -- they've done shit tonight and there has been no reason for them to play as much as they have tonight. We have other guys available -- McRob and Green should get more PT down the stretch here -- And Wade needs to get involved.

This is going to be an 0-3 roadtrip if they lose this one. This team is not good enough to think they can just play down to their opponent and still win.

They need to wake up fast. Depending on the result of the game tonight they're either going to head to bed in 3rd place or in 5th/6th

Well, we have lost the Nets at home already so this one would be up there as on the road. A typical poor 3rd quarter on the road. Winslow and Richardson sounded too cocky and paid for it. A combined 1-12. The lineups we stayed with in this one cost us, but such is life and a learning experience. Seems like a completely wasted opportunity if we lose but there is still time and perhaps Wade, Deng, Dragic and Whiteside can save this one down the stretch. The bad news is that Kobe is not playing. Johnson can't play against the young guns.
