The Papuchis defense is just playing patty cake. No attack whatsoever.

The offense cannot run against Mac&Cheese State.

$415,000 for a potential meltdown.

I have said for awhile, stop or slow down our run and anybody has a chance against us. McN State has just proven that.

Actually, couldn't hear a damn thing from you streaming made about as much sense as most of your posts. BTW how's that 55% passing completion from TA going for you? Two patsies and he still isn't there.

Take the cock outta your mouth before you talk. That made no sense.

Regarding TA, I never said he'd get there. I said that 'he needed to get there'.

1 more completion per game and he would be there. Know your math dumbass.

didn't know where else to come in and say it.

man Beck is horrible at play calling. what was that crap? our O-line was pitiful today. seriously, how many times can a defender come through untouched? i thought for sure we'd just line it up and run it right at them in the 2nd half, but nope, Beck decides we need to see more of Tommy passing.

defense - it was fine for playing it vanilla the whole game. I mean, no d-line pressure at all without gregory. I was really expecting more from them. then Bo and JP decide not to blitz ever. they got burnt on like one blitz where they ran it and that's the end of that.

ST - punt returns were excellent when we actually ran the punt return team. Why the heck were we keeping the defense out there on 4 and 3, you don't trust your return team to make a tackle?

oh and take away the interception return for a TD and that game isn't close. Just an absolute horrible throw, even if westerkamp ran the wrong route, that defender was right there. they showed ganz talking to tommy on the sideline after the play, it was clearly Tommy's fault.

Yeah, but we had some sure points there until the pick. Beck trusts TA way too much. We also saw that with Tito.

I learned the coordinators cannot make a game plan.

I learned the coordinators cannot make adjustments.

I have suspected that, but that really put the nail in the coffin for me. Papuchis I have not been a fan of, but Beck sucked today.

Shameful.

Serioiusly? That was an FCS school. And the coordinators pulled that out? Un fricking believable.

Pull your head out of you ass--get there or need to get there--doesn't appear it's going to get there. Of course you don't "get" what I wrote, if you did it would be admitting you had your head up you ass.

Here's the thing RA and I'm dead serious. During the Crouch era (and maybe you were too young to remember that), once our running game got stymied, the onus was soley on Crouch, and the results were generally not pretty. That team IMO had more talent on the OL as well as DL than we do right now. Whether that's true or not can be debated, but what is true and it's been this way the whole Pelini era, is that once again if the running game gets stopped or slowed down, and we get stuck with our QB being the majority of our offense we do not do well. Even TA alluded to that. He has running ability as did Crouch, but if he ends up scrambling especially if he is forced to pass, it's either quick outs or the long bomb, the opposing defense doesn't have to worry about covering the possibility of the mid range passes because by and large they aren't there.

We aren't even close to seeing the better defenses this year and in all fairness, I forget which player said it after the game, but in essence if we don't play better we'll be looking at 9-4 again. That's my frustration with the Pelini era, breakdowns, lack of consistancy, and a highly ineffective passing game.

Makes me want to start pimpin' Pelini for pure entertainment value.

Just out of curiosity, what do you consider short, medium, and long range?

Short - (?-? Yds)
Medium - (?-? Yds)
Long - (?-? Yds)

Someone help me understand what bigred472 was trying to say in the bolded. I've read it 10 times and it still makes no sense to me.

Is he mad about my "kinder, gentler, Bo" comment, that I put up a link for the 1620 Big Red Over-reaction stream, or both? :noidea:

He couldn't hear from my streaming? wtf does that even mean?

The first game I have been to in years. I was very disappointed in the way that we played. I was more pissed that both of our lines couldn't get push.

Agin no responses to anything I said just deflection and yes the streaming was garbled at least on my laptop at home. Reread my post number thirteen. Minus my snarky comments in reply to your snarky comments. Every scrambling QB we've had hasn't been worth a shit as a passer (at least to where they help our offense). Opposing teams since the Crouch era have seen this and it gives us trouble when we use height challenged scrambling QBs. Stop the run? Our offense sputters. Even your observation about TAs passing percentage....all your doing is giving nominal support to the type of QBs that have failed us since 2000.

Since Beck and Bo are going to continue to force a round peg into a square hole by allowing TA to be a passing QB, he may as well throw the second string QB in there to see how he performs.
