Funny that just yesterday Tucker made the rounds on local Denver radio talking about being flattered to be considered for the MSU job, but how happy he was to be at Colorado.

I'd be pissed if I were a CU fan.
Dude had his salary doubled and got to move much closer to home and his family. The situation sucks, but who wouldn't do that?

I agree the fit is better and the money is ridiculous for a HC with 1 year of experience. I'm just saying the way he handled it was fucked up.

It's a bad look for Tuck.

My guess is he had no idea the offer was coming, at least not the one they gave him last night. Who would expect $6+m a year when you're only making $3.2m? Sure, it's not a great look, but he had to have been completely blown away, as would anyone.

Does this hire cause concern for tOSU?

Didn't think so.

If I was Michigan I'd be a little concerned. Tucker is known for his recruiting. He may be able to get kids that might have otherwise gone to Michigan.

$3 million more dollars will soften the blow, but imagine moving from boulder to East Lansing. Poor guy.

I very much doubt that any coach will be able to seriously impact our recruiting at MSU. If Dantonio couldn’t do it while we sucked and they were winning conference titles, no one will.

So Tucker has moved on. That's okay. Half of the so-called Buffs fans around here didn't know his name anyway.

Oh my god. You’re right!!! How could I have possibly forgotten the Riley Dog.

Good ol’ Mark Riley.
We’ll never forget him.

Saban was able to do it to an extent for his short time there. Even a couple in state kids each cycle could have an impact.

I can see that. But Michigan hasn't won the B1G East in forever.

I was asking how concerned the Ohio State faithful are with this hire. Other than the one Penn State championship, Sparty is the B1G East team that has been a thorn in the side of the bucknuts over the past few years.
