I had no rooting interest in tonight's TNF game, but I was pulling like heck for our old friend Matt Hasselbeck to get the W.

And man what a magnificent performance he put up. The guy is 40 years old and had been sick and throwing up all week and he was able to muster up enough strength to win the game.

Much respect to Matt. He had an emotional post game interview too.

He posted on Twitter that his game ball was for a girl who lost her battle with cancer today. I'm sure that had something to do with it too.

Now retire already so you can raise the 12th Man Flag and get yourself in the Ring of Honor!

I have to believe that this is his last season..... It was great watching him play last night.

Yeah I didn't even put the UW game on until Matt was done playing. Awesome to see him performing well there, especially since all we've heard is how it's all Luck.

Colt's 1-2 in Luck's Starts and 2-0 in Hasselbeck's starts. Main reason? Hasselbeck 0 INT's and Luck the TURNOVER MACHINE has 7 INT's.

When your team has a pretty poor Defense you have to limit turnovers. Luck will never be "that guy" at limiting Turnovers. The Colts will never win a Superbowl with Luck turning the ball over as much as he does with out an elite defense.

Ring of honor? Is the Seahawks history that mediocre???

Is Kelly Stouffer next?

Troy Aikman is in the HOF with lesser numbers than Hasselbeck's career numbers. The only thing Hass doesn't have is the rings (and he should have one, grrrrr.). So why wouldn't he go on the ring of honor in the City where he put up most of his stats?

All time seahawks passing yards leader, took us to a superbowl, started for 10 years. For his career he is over 35k passing yards. One of the most underrated QBs of his time.

Ya, he belongs in our ring of honor

Let's also not forget that the Seahawks' WRs were the drop masters during that time. Darrell Jackson, Koren Robinson and even Bobby Engram (to name a few) all had at one time or another the tendency to drop passes. More than one game was dropped while he was the starting QB.

On top of all his regular season team records, there's also these in the playoffs:

Games played (11), games started (11), completions (256), yards (2741) and touchdowns (18).

:L Dumbest statement I've read today.

That Hasselbeck belongs in the Seahawks ring of honor? I have to agree....

An 82.2 rating for Seattle! A 69-62 career record! 174TD's and 128INT's. You can't make this stuff up!

Coming from the guy who's avatar plays for a team who's own "hall of fame" includes Steve Grogan and Drew Bledsoe?

Hasselbeck 82.2 rating 174 TD's and 128 INT's.
Steve Grogan 69.6 rating 182 TD's and 208 INT's.
Drew Bledsoe 75.9 rating 166 TD's and 138 INT's.

Yeah, I can see how Hasselbeck wouldn't make it into the Pats Hall either. :L

Then we are in agreement. None of those guys belong in any "Rings of honor/HOF".

Happy for Matt and would like to diddle the daylights out of his sister in law. Just a side note.
