I was all for letting him go to bring in a better coach. That being said he was one of the biggest reason for the change in culture in the organization. He set the foundation, but we needed someone else to take take us higher.

He deserves a loud ovation from the fans.

fuck him anyway

is he red auerbach now?

When you have a team that made one playoff appearance in 18 years, you don't take for granted any strides in progress.

Jackson had his flaws, but he turned around the culture of the organization. He instilled a defensive mindset in the team and had consecutive playoff appearances. He was fired after arguably his best season as a coach as well with 51 wins.

The problem with him was that he wasn't making the most of the talent he had. Some fans hated that he was let go. Others like myself thought it was necessary.

He's not Red, he's not Phil, he's not Pop, but he should be appreciated for what he helped do with the organization.

Waiting for that awkward moment when the announcers talk about why the Warriors are better under the new coach.
