What a crock of shit. Error after error. WTF has happened to this team? I don't think we could make it much easier for the Angels today.

I know this team can't win em' all but just when it's looking like maybe the MoJo is finally back for the M's, they throw in a clunker like this. Can't get RISP plated, bases loaded with zero outs and zero runs scored and stupid errors. Makes it tough to not get upset about it when you've seen these guys playing decent ball as of late. They earned this loss.....period.

Probably need a game like this now and then to get over themselves and refocus.

Most of these guys have no real history of winning. Keeping as much focus during a win streak isn't in their repertoire.

Go get the series tomorrow and keep putting distance up on them.

Didn't see the game but who the heck is this Rumbelow dude or however you spell it? They've sent down dude's who have done well and hell even Bradford is better in that situation. Why the front door is a garbage time pitcher pitching when the game is within reach?

Yesterday was just a clunker all around. The Angels are good enough to not let the M's get away with that type of performance. Still in good shape if they can win today

I'm am once again done with zunino after that play in the 9th when he got caught running home by a mile and didn't need to run.

Down by 3 and guys on 2nd and 3rd with one out and Meathead trots home and pisses away an out and a runner in scoring position, he should rot in AAA for that crap.

But AAA is useless for him because he obviously is what he is after aff these years.

Was just a piss poor game for the M's on the 4th. Reminded me of last year's performance. Today is another day and a chance to get the series win. Going into the series I had hopes for a sweep against the Angels since our record with them this season looked promising. Oh well-so it goes.

Yea there were a lot of sloppy things that happened yesterday.

Just off the top of my head Cruz swinging at a 3-1 pitch way out of the zone when they were down 7-3 in the 8th really pissed me off. He's been great lately but man you need base runners there.

I'd bring up Dee's AB in the 7th but that's just low hanging fruit at this point. With Seagar hitting somewhat lately he is now the biggest weakness in the lineup.

the bite in the nut(b)..........is hernandez pitches more like a 4th pitcher than an ACE .....and the mariners would look
and will look more like the dodgers..after signing leblanc to an extention..........for example

paxton L/L
_____________....this maybe an off season trade ..but with hernandez only one more year on contract..making a move
anytime now for a second R/R..starter would be good..eating money on the deal ..maybe.. a forgone conclusion
gonzales..L/L
leake
leblanc..L/L

espn on ramirez bullpen

Ramirez (shoulder) threw an all-fastballs, 20-pitch bullpen session Sunday morning, David Gottlieb of MLB.com reports. "[This is] the best feeling I've felt, maybe, in the last two months," Ramirez said. "I went so much time without seeing a catcher. [I'm] feeling good. That's what matters right now." (Sun Jul 1)

The fact that Ramirez came out of the session in such high spirits is certainly encouraging, and it speaks to the level of progress he's apparently made recently. The right-hander is now slated to throw a 25-pitch session Wednesday during which he'll incorporate both fastballs and changeups, which will represent another important benchmark in his recovery.

That's the scary part of the Yankees. All of that power and so much youth. They are going to be a force for years to come (again).

And youth usually means cheap payroll. That is a double positive in baseball even for a big spending team like Yanks. We are on the opposite side of that which hurts a not-all-in-payroll team like M's.

New York has been planning this for a few years now since some of their best were retiring/moving on. (Cano etc.) They had the ability to scout out young top players to put together an up and coming #1 team where as the Mariners depended on "older" players for a quick fix. The M's philosophy is long term pain for MAYBE short term gain. Not the way to go and probably won't work anyway.
