Too be fair, all of that stuff is educated guesses. The Mariners will never open their books. Next time they come for a handout from the city and county I’d like the council’s to put an amendment in there saying they not only have to open their books but have to have a payroll equivalent to their market size they keep talking about.

The payroll numbers are out there because MLB publicizes them for luxury tax reasons. As far as what they bring in, the numbers seem awfully specific to be guesses.

Cause they are educated guesses on the specifics. The only way there would be legit numbers is if they opened their books or there is a leak. Not saying those numbers are way off at all just saying those numbers are kind of like how they come out with these lists of peoples net worth.
