I don’t think Teo could’ve replicated his success at T Mobile. The way he talks about T Mobile makes it seem like he was mentally defeated and you can’t be successful when you show up to the park thinking you can’t hit there.

the only thing better for owners would be selling the good pitching for straight up cash without investing a penny back into the team. but they can't do that and still pretend to care about winning, so they'll just settle for making the 3rd most profit in MLB instead of trying to increase it. poor dears.

Too be fair, all of that stuff is educated guesses. The Mariners will never open their books. Next time they come for a handout from the city and county I’d like the council’s to put an amendment in there saying they not only have to open their books but have to have a payroll equivalent to their market size they keep talking about.
