they need a 2B at arkansas..which at one time kopach could do....now...idk...so
seeing as this is my main board...with either trimble or norby 1st..trying to get norby..at all costs..to play 2B..at arkansas..by at least
draft time next year...to start..or anytime before next year..would be good..and better

article from 2012

Examining the Percentage of MLB Draft Picks Who Reach the Major Leagues

  1. In the wake of last week’s 2012 MLB draft, I thought that it’d be interesting to examine the percentage of MLB draft picks that actually reach the big leagues, with an emphasis on the declining odds as the draft progresses.

1st Round

1 OF 6
  1. The first round of MLB’s first-year player draft represents the cream of the crop, the top talent within the United States.
Still, by no means does that guarantee that those players will reach The Show, as only 66 percent of first-round picks play in the major leagues.

2nd Round

2 OF 6
  1. After the first round, each subsequent round features a significant dropoff in the chances of reaching the major leagues.
For those players drafted in the second round of the draft, the chances of reaching the major leagues drops to 49 percent.

Rounds 3-5

3 OF 6
  1. Rounds 3-5 are a major turning point where the odds begin to drastically decrease, as only 32 percent of players drafted reach the majors.

Rounds 6-10

4 OF 6
  1. And the likelihood of playing in the major leagues continues to worsen, as only 20 percent of players drafted in Rounds 6-10 reach The Show.

The odds nearly slice in half from Rounds 6-10, as only 11 percent of players drafted in Rounds 11-20 reach the big leagues.

Although there is less conclusive data considering the new collective bargaining agreement slashed the draft from 50 to 40 rounds this year, the chances of a player drafted after the 21st round reaching the major leagues is a slim seven percent. (It’s probably less now that 10 rounds have been cut from the draft.)
and now
20 rounds have been cut...and..the winner..will be the club who can sign..the best free agents....
it is a whole new ball game after...the last pick..in round 20
it will be like the nfl..after the draft..........

so somewhere..around 620 guys..in the draft...and if you list 300 more guys..that would be about right

looks like they filled up azl...for now...but they will still need
maybe
2 outfield guys
2 infield guys
they have a lot
of pitchers

for me it is hard to say..what..or who they would need..in after draft free agents...but one thing is sure....more better...more better
they need to get...more better
at azl

the other thing is i would say if they need....pitchers in the draft...at least 2starters prob would do..but those guys could be considerd
long relief..and still start...so most will prob be..bull pen guys

there is one thing..that norby is best at in collage baseball
he is best...at getting a hit...with 102...norby has speed...with 18 stolen bases...that is clear...norby has at least some power..to hit hrs..
that is what makes....norby..the best choice...for the mariners..at 2B

the guys next in line in hits

a few things to say about CF
my choice was dylan beavers...not the mariners...in fact...all the guys...i posted...are not mariners choices....just guys i ...liked..on...we will see..july 11-13..who the mariners like....lol
that said...maybe you can understand...my...choice of beavers
Dylan BeaversCaliforniaCF.303.401.6301.031552114464112184953253102
who strikes out a bit much...but one guy...who strikes out a bit much..is easier to work with ...than 10..who do...and i would use beavers as a RF
haniger type as well...which...he fits a certain profile there...but he can play cf as well...cool...lol

guys who fit my...do not strike out profile

for me would be a lower round draft pick...cuz to me ..the teams his school plays would ...like..he would start..at modesto..but he is good..and fits the do not strike out profile

why..jackson glenn...???
well
84 hits
20 hrs...that is 1/3..almost..of his hits
low strike outs
you can not say that...with most of the hr hitters
Griffin DoerschingNorthern Kentucky1B.316.488.7721.26048158475012020483503421
would be next..in the jackson...set......... list..and with less at bats...doersching is ...pritty darn...maybe even better than jackson
but i will go on in the set...with..47-48 strike outs being to many...also..we notice...doersching..only has 50 hits

RJ SchreckDukeLF.337.435.6351.070542084970801852102743111
with 70 hits..18 hrs
Kyle BattleOld DominionLF.319.464.6811.14559207686615318616563772
with only 66 hits..we are getting a bit low for this list..on hits...battle and schreck..are really good players..who i would have on my list..and i do but they are alts..battle would be a RF..for me...and schreck..would be a LF..but..but i am after...LF/CF guys...schreck..does not fit there
next is

who ever the mariners draft...they start where they start...with whatever talent they bring with them...nothing can change that....
