That's a good comparison.
They would burn down half of Baltimore.
And no one could tell.

I know.Luka alone gives you a shot for 10 years
I think its more of a long term play- and that the writing on the wall is there for LeBron to be gone after this year. They want to start over with Doncic- and when you get that opportunity it was too good to pass up- instead of continuing with a small small chance this year. I think Luka and Reeves will be there for a long while. Not necessarily. Lebron has taken a step back this year and has been letting Austin Reaves handle a large chunk of the playmaking/point guard duties.
Lebron and Reaves have been doing well sharing those duties...but Luka may be "too many cooks" which is why @tlance is likely correct in that this may now mean that Reaves will be available for trade.

Pretty ironic he got dealt to Dallas.... Remember last offseason when there were rumors Klay would come to Los Angeles to be the designated shooter Bron and AD needed on the perimeter.
Well, AD has his designated shooter....in Dallas.
You're wrong. Whether or not he talked to other teams...he was always signing with the Lakers...going to the Lakers is why he forced his way out of New Orleans. Him saying he would only sign with the Lakers is why the Celtics (and any other team that could beat the Lakers offer) didn't improve their offer when they could have easily beaten the Lakers best offer.
You seem like someone who enjoys being wrong, and even wallows in it.You seem like someone who argues just to argue.
Back atchya. You won't last long with that shit.
Incorrect.Who is shooting worse than Russell did. Hell, he's way worse than Hachimura.
Big time. Fox can be greatFox is gonna be so much better in San Antonio
San Antonio has been down for a while- but is finally starting to come out of it.
I'm not, but even if I were, you seriously think that Rich Paul. Rich Paul. Rich Paul!! Didn't have his client assess all of his options?
Good Lord dude...Incorrect.
Klay is making 41% and 39% of his 3's while....
Russell 41% and 34%.
San Antonio and OKC look like the future of the west.
I predict they will meet in the playoffs quite a few times.
You do realize who Rich Paul is right?
LeBron James literally made him.
So I’m sure he assessed his options. He figured out if he wanted to buy a new house In LA, if he wanted some new cars. What investments to add to his portfolio, etc.
Rich Paul and LeBron were why he wanted to go to the Lakers in the first place.
Who are my other two? LOL if you want to be taken seriously skip the clown shit. You clearly know some stuff, well so do we. Welcome aboard but gay posts will be ridiculed.Out of curiosity, who are your other two?
Arguably one of the strongest planks in Abdul-Jabbar's case -- apart from the fact that he was the best high-school player ever and the best college player ever -- is that his unprecedented accomplishments came despite being actively hated by the leagues in which he played. Younger folks today cannot imagine this, but the NBA __hated__ Abdul-Jabbar, largely because of his religion, but also his willingness to speak his mind. He and a couple other athletes invented the concept of sports social protest when they boycotted the '68 Olympics. A lot of people in this country never forgave him for that. ( cf: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar details passing on 1968 Olympics in new book )
He got no calls at all on the court. He averaged 6 free throw attempts per game. By way of comparison, Pau Gasol averaged 5.1. One of these guys was one of the two most-unstoppable offensive weapons in the history of the game. The other was Gasol. Why do you think he developed the Skyhook? He needed to score from some distance, because when he went to the rim, he got clobbered every time. He wore the goggles because people 'accidentally' couldn't keep their fingers out of his eyes, which was the only way to stop him. Chamberlain averaged 11 FTA, and the league didn't exactly love him, either.
It was almost completely the antithesis of how Jordan was treated.
When Abdul-Jabbar's house burned down in '82-ish, and he lost his prized jazz collection, thousands of people sent him replacements. He was shocked, because as far as he was aware, everyone hated him.
Yes, and Paul is doing all right now on his own. And James does not have all that much left to offer him. I understand Paul's fiancee can probably feed the family, if need be.
So why don't all Paul clients play for the Lakers? Why didn't James apparently tell Pelinka at some point "Don't you dare trade any Paul guys like Davis!"
Maybe it's actually a business, and not just a clubhouse?
Cmon man. If you are going to debate at least throw out the facts. It was never a rental, not even in your land of makebelieveFind a bigger one, for a one year rental. There are none, in any sport.
You are, as usual, utterly and completely wrong. You missed a whole bunch of the trade.
