Wish he would learn to cover tho and maybe catch. But I get pumped when I see him out there

He played phenominal!!!!!!!!!!! Glad to see him on the field over Haralson....

but seriously, he stepped up huge today and was relentless...

Should've made that Pick but he's an OLB/DE.... so expecting him to catch a bullet... not so bad...

No kidding, at least the 49ers can cross off OLB as a 1st round target, unless a too good to be true guy falls to them in the 20s... or maybe 30s? :)

I'm loving the Aldon pick more and more. At first I wasn't sure about it cause he wasn't someone I targeted, but they seem like they found their guy.

he doesn't seem overly talented like some pass rushers, but he seems smart. very subtle moves to get around guys.

I can't figure out if he's good, or we've been so void of talent in that area for so long, he looks good. Which is it?

I couldn't believe that he wasn't on the field toward the end of the game. He and Justin next to each other are a nasty combination. He's not a burner around the edge a la Freeney, but he just gets it done. And honestly, I think his low-blow penalty early in the game threw Stafford off a bit and resulted in him missing several throws.

Yeah, the 3 man rush should be Aldon, Justin, and RayMac. I'm pretty sure Justin could still get some good push against the middle of the line too.

But but but I've never head of Aldon Smith so he must suck and we reached for him! What was Baalke thinking!

I can't believe we passed on Prince for this guy!

What? Outside of Ware and Williams he's probably the most talented 3-4 OLB in the league.

Well he is on pace for about 15 sacks. and looks to be getting better with more playing time. Thats looks pretty damn good for his rookie year.

Terrell Suggs?

A strong case can be made for Suggs as well, but I'd give the edge to Smith athletically. Smith is a little bigger, a little bit quicker/faster, and a little bit more explosive.

I'd agree if we're just talking talent/potential.
