And I am not upset. He, along with Williams, with their holdouts are the main reason the vibe with this team started off so badly. Aiyuk did not care at all about the team, he just wanted his money. The last straw for me was the chicken shit way he went about things, reporting to camp and faking an injury so he could still get paid while not honoring his current contract that he was happy to sign his name to. The dude has no class and no ethics. I have zero respect for him
At least a player like Prescott, while negotiating his new contract, honored his current one by showing up and preparing for the season without holding out and faking injury. I despise the Cowboys and always wish evil upon them but I can respect that player.

You cant blame it all on Mason though. He has ran well all year. Sure he is not the receiving threat McCaff is, but Purdy rarely throws him the ball. I think Greenlaw snd Hufanga ( if they ever come back ) will get the defense back on track. Offensively, of course McCaff will make a difference , but Purdy has to play better too. Your Ks havent helped either. I know you are on your third one.

Greenlaw yes, Hufanga, no. he is way overrated and has lost his job to Mustafa for sure

No doubt Mustafa brings it as well. Didnt you guys lose some DLinemen in free agency.

He was critical. Him missing the season dooms the 49ers
Yes, he is critical but we still had enough talent to win more games. Not saying we'd be undefeated but say 6-2 or 5-3. One game better is crucial in the NFL cause at the end, tie-breakers come into play.

We still committed too many mistakes all season and worse, in all 3 phases.

Agree, just too many mistakes by players who are playing. I'm sure there were coaching mistakes too but not qualified to get into this,

Agree Hufnaga lost his job. Part of it is the injury and his inability to play, but the rest is Mustafa getting better now.

We did but also picked up D Linemen, and these new adds shouldn't have dropped off this much? Too bad Khalia Davis can't stay healthy, he flashed earlier and might've been a big improvement by himself?

Armstead was hurt a lot recently, so he wasn't a consistent force anyway.

Not having CMC hurts no doubt, but the losses include multiple other things. One that doesn't get enough attention is penalties, these 49ers are getting flagged too much.
Definitely but the one everyone forgets is Greenlaw. No greater example is the Super Bowl last year. With Greenlaw in the game Kelce caught zero passes in the first half. When Greenlaw went down, Kelce caught 9 passes

Definitely should be 6 and 2 but those two losses are on Shanahan and their inability to rush the passer.

As a Dallas fan I have always loved Warner , but also realized that Greenlaw is awesome as well. Just the physicality he brings, i hope he has a 100 percent recovery. Those two together are fun to watch.

He will make the big play too when they need it His goal line play against Seattle on the last play put the 49ers in the playoffs and his interception at the end of the playoff game last year against GB saved their season

Yep, I underestimated Greenlaw myself early on, but his tackling stood out first and foremost.
