Last two Heisman winners at OU were from Oklahoma. :laugh3:

That proves what? Try to be halfway intelligent. Compare the number of FBS players coming out of Oklahoma to Texas, Florida, Ohio, Ca, La, Georgia, etc

When you have access to Nike money and can do whatever you want with it. It is a very attractive job.

I dont have them in because of recruiting area and tradition. Tradition being a smaller component

Yeah. I can see how one would not have them in.

Their primary recruiting is the Bay Area pipeline. In state talen is very limited.

Get a gem now and again but no depth at all.

If you dont understand than the 2 of you should form a study group. It is a simple concept. You could also read Mamba's post above about Oregon, as it is applicable

I have looked at about a dozen lists.

Oregon is on all of them with lowest being 12th best.

Mostly between 7 to 10

Idk if I would have them in a top-10 either, Mamba. 10-15 quite possibly, but top-10 is pushing it. Oregon has a few recruiting disadvantages that would probably take them out. Could also be viewed as a "flash in the pan" type compared to some of those others.

ya I can buy that. I have em top 10.

ANd I think cuz they are the latest and hot team in CFB they may get too big of a bump from all these talking heads.
10-15 is probably more reasonable.

Oklahoma not having in-state talent is irrelevant. DFW is three hours from the campus in Norman. Wouldn't you know it it's three hours from the campus in Austin too but don't let a little thing like geography get in the way of Texas fans being dumbasses.

This helps my cause for Oregon.

All though not as close there are only so many teams in Cali that can go to those schools.

Oregon has been getting their share of quality from that state for a good time now.

Yep. I don't think there is anything wrong with a 10-15 ranking though. That number would be waaaaaaay lower about 10 years ago. There probably isn't a program in the country that has had the bump in the last 10 or 15 years that Oregon has had. Can't bitch about that.

You think OK should be ranked ahead of any school on that list outside of maybe UGA and LSU which could potentially get the SEC bump and have better recruiting grounds? (not that OKs is bad because of it's proximity to Texas, but it isn't Georgia either.)
