I am not a fan. I am fine with Kelly the Player, but at 16 that is not the ideal.

I'm all for building the line but I'd rather take Corey Coleman with his elite upside over a C.

How many winning seasons did they have with CJ, Stafford and Suh or any other draft pick that played with Dom? Same amount...

Swanson sucks, I won't like a replacement pick that early, but I'm praying for a replacement by the end of the 4th. I don't even want Swanson on the team as a reserve C/G backup anymore.

I have also paid attention to other teams just behind us and their needs and wants. Colts at 18 are talking highly of Conklin, Decker and Kelly. Is this just BQ trying to pick up a extra pick?

I had hoped the smokescreen of a WR with visits and such had taken place. Having Vikes, Bengals, and Texans behind us.

Talking with Blue who is trade down happy. This was one scenario I had for him of two trade downs happening.

I don't know enough about Kelly to say one way or the other on him particularly but if he's a dominant center for us for the next 10+ years, I couldn't care less when we take him. I think people get way too caught up in taking certain positions high. If you add a stud to the 22 starters it shouldn't matter that he's a center or guard or linebacker. Hell, 15 years ago you would rarely take Safeties and DTs high but you'd jump on a runner. Now it wouldn't shock anyone for a DT to go #1 and the best RB to drop out of the first. I just want players. Get me players, Bobby!

I wouldn't agree with that. Alabama players keep getting drafted because they are well coached winners and the league is littered with a lot of very good, proven Alabama players. Of course this also leads to players being drafted that clearly aren't that good and get covered up by the talent around them but that's going to happen. If I were going to look at a school that constantly has tons of draft picks that mostly flame out, it would be USC. I'm scared to death everytime we get one. I want to say I read that the Lions have taken more USC players than any other school. Then comes a lot of losing!
