You out too much stock in the combine. The tape doesn't lie when you watch Reagor in games in pads he is fast and when he hits his top speed no one catches him from behind.

A study from CBS Sports, citing data from a company called Slants, tracked game speed vs. timed speed for receivers in the 2020 draft class. Of the players in the study, Reagor at TCU had the second-fastest game speed as a ball-carrier behind only Ruggs.

Ruggs reached 21.94 mph and Reagor was second at 20.80 mph.

Here's red flags is why lots of fans didn't like the pick.

Reagor had a 47% catch rate which ranked third worst in the entire FBS. He had a drop rate of over 16% which was worst in his class. He has speed but his numbers aren't great.

Jeffery is likely never going to play another snap for the Eagles. The WRs can't be worse than last year for the Eagles. If a team is going to stick their best corner on Reagor then so be it. That leaves better receiving options in Ertz, Goedert and Ward working with lesser cover guys.

Also did you know Agholar ran 21.11 last year? Top end speed is very misleading because what matters is often how long it takes you to get there and if you can do it in traffic and it also is very difficult to accurately calculate. What is more important to me about game day speed is I don't care what a guy does in shorts and a T-Shirt. I want to see what he does in pads

And Reagor does it in pads. I don't care about his 40 time at the combine because as you said it is another thing to do it on the field and do it in the midst of bodies coming at you. The only thing from the combine that I take from Reagor is just how amazing hers vertical jump is and that is something you also see on the tape.


That is why I draw the comparison to Steve Smith. It is very reminiscent of Smith for a shorter WR like that to be able to go up in the air and pull down catches like Smith made a career of doing and Reagor has done in college.

I don't even think Ward is guaranteed to make the roster. He's probably WR 4/5 next year if he makes it.

Having watched a lot of videos of l of his targets in specific games the QB play was abysmal.

Ward is legit. I fully expect him to be the starting slot WR. Only 24 years old and a good athlete, has already earned Wentz's trust and came up with some big clutch catches last year.

Of the carousel of WRs they brought in and threw on the field last year Ward is going to be the only one that sticks. Easily the best WR on the roster last season not named DeSean Jackson.

My thought process is the Seahawks also were devastated by injuries they even had to start bringing RBs in off the streets. But is anyone making excuses for Russell Wilson? Not that I’ve see .

If Jeffrey is able to play/he's kept, he's not on the roster is my guess. Maybe he'll surprise me and be able to stick. He's just extremely limited.
