I hate to beat a dead horse, but it's so annoying to watch most of the team flying around defensively trying to rotate properly, then having that wasted because Russ is just floating.

Big game from Dwight last night, did a commendable job matching a lot of Embiid's output. I'm liking Gabriel too; a real hard worker but needs some coaching up and experience in general.

Yea, I am liking the recent new guys like Gabriel, Johnson, and Augustin. They have not been jaded from hanging around somebody on this team and they play with energy trying to do the right thing but there is something that destroys that over time like what happened to Malik Monk who has turned into a near replica of Westbrook.

Loved Monk's 1st quarter dunk in the Sixers game though. He has his moments.

It's an extension of their issues of trying to make Westbrook fit. His minutes are limited by the intent to keep Westbrook involved and still get good minutes for Reaves, THT, DJ, Bradley, etc. Recent injuries have kept THT and Bradley largely out of the picture lately (as well as Nunn of course) and Ellington has faded out of consideration.

That's faint praise though. Russ has been OK, but still a far cry from the level expected of his paygrade. He's gone soon after this season, so the Lakers should be doing everything they can to encourage Monk to want to stay instead IMO.

AD went through a full practice, listed as doubtful for Tuesday's game.

LeBron also doubtful for Tuesday.

If the Lakers get into the play-in Tourney, they will play the Suns in the first round if they win two straight games. Facing the Suns will be a slaughter. The Lakers will not win one game against the Suns.
