Im fired up with Melo right now. They are making him feel like he can run Chitown. It was a good welcome for Melo. I just hope the meeting goes well. Pax/fore haven't done a good job bringing in that Top talent through FA.

Rose might need to change his stance on recruitment.

It comes off as....unfriendly?

Looks like he has made an exception to the rule with Melo and will be present for the pitch.

I still say Melo takes the money and stays in Zoo York if the other suitors can't anti up the funds.

Bulls, Dallas and Rox would be a better situation.

Hell, so would the Suns.

But, the guy likes being the King of New York and like Kyrie, won't turn down that much cheddar.

Ariza wants to get paid.

I didn't realize that he and Swaggy P were almost 30.
I knew Swaggy P is almost 30 but not Ariza.

Ariza has been trying to get paid for a long time now. LOL

I think a lot more will have to happen in Miami if they plan to get Melo. No word on what Ray Ray is gonna do and also Haslem. I read they may try 2 offer him a cushy FO gig 2 get him 2 retire and open up more room under the cap...

I don't think Melo is in their plans.

They want Deng or Ariza.

For whatever reason, Steve Blake is on their radar too.

I think they should be looking at Pau, Blatche, Gortat and maybe even Frye.

They have to address the Center position.

I think Napier will be the long-term answer at the point.

But, they need some frontcourt depth.

Ariza turned 29 yesterday.

So, this is his last chance at a big contract.

He is looking at the Cavs, Lakers, Clippers, Heat and Wiz.

THis is great news. He is doing something that LBJ was afraid of.

If the Cavs knew how to build a championship roster, James would still be there.
The only thing James was afraid of was remaining ring less for the prime years of his career.

He is staying in Cleveland. This is great news for the NBA and the Cavs. U would of thought a home town kid would of stayed but
Kyrie showing he is class and respect.[/

Errr. He's taking a boat load of cash to stay...and at 22, whose to blame him?
He'll probably have an opt out after 3-4 years where he will still be young enough, if he improves and is healthy enough to hand pick a better scenario if the Cavs continue to be the Cavs.

Also, IMO, the Cavs HAD to sign him because:

A. No veteran (like Love) could have been traded for because no veteran all things being equal is extending with the Cavs.

B. Cavs can't continue to just trade for draft picks.

C. Gilbert is a complete douche and James is laughing at him...and will be forever....if he thinks he's ever going to play for him again.

I think he can easily get $10 mil from a lot of teams....especailly the ones you listed. I wouldn't mind the Lakers picking him up and paying him that as long as he plays and doesn't sit out every other game. Teehee:laugh3:

I think picking 1st in the draft the last 3 out of 4 years and remaining a bottom feeder in the Eastern Conference says it all 4 the Cavs. :L

:agree::agree: Especially in the East.
Look how Phoenix moved up in the West in ONE year.

The Bobcats, Raptors, Hawks (with all the injuries), Bulls (with all the injuries), have produced/improved/stayed afloat.

The Cavs, regardless of whose in charge, just cant seem to figure it out.

Isaiah Thomas is gonna get paid a lot less while irving paid the max. Both pretty much had the same
NUmbers lol..

Player A 21.6 PPG, 42.8% FG%, 6.3 APG, 1.3 SPG

Player B 20.3 PPG, 44.5% FG%, 6.6 APG, 1.4 SPG

I wonder how well the Bobkittens would've done this post season had their star not been injured.

Yeah, but would Thomas sign with Cleveland if put on the open market? Cavs had the advantage in contract negotiations when it came to Irving

They did REALLY well in the draft.

Vonleh is gonna be very good and Hariston can flat out score, which they really needed.

Had he not been a knucklehead at Chapel Hill, he would have been a near lottery pick.

The Clippers had a deal for him at the deadline.

But,.....Sterling nixed it :gaah:

Hey, did you see that DeAndre Kane is playing for the Lakers in Summer League?

Despite going undrafted, He's probably the best pg on the roster...lol

Honestly, he's a keeper...imo

Teams didn't take him because of his checkered past and age.

I mean, Royce White was Hoiberg's last road to redemption player before Kane.

We all saw how that worked out:doh:

But, he can play.

I like both the Lakers Rookie pg's.

Same fate.
Possibly on a different date.
:agree: but had they been able 2 win at least 1 game it would've helped that young team's confidence going into the next season. I thought the Nets had it in them to do what SA did...maybe not in as many games but still pull out a win. Honestly, if not 4 the mental mistakes SA made in game 2 I doubt Miami would've won a game in that series.

No, I haven't seen that. It's funny but you're more up 2 date with my team than I am. I will be watching now. We desperately needed ANY help we could get at the PG position...and I am jus excited 2 see what Randle is gonna bring.

Probably true.
Bit it's fine.
If Bosh and Wade play next year for 11 & 12 as reported, Riley will fill in the holes that were exposed by the Spurs.

If there's issue w Heat, it's Wade still getting superstar $$. One prominent agent says client won't go there "to get less shots than Wade."

Hopefully Wade quits shooting IMO unless its dunks or with 7 ft.
Anyway:
