If I owned the Cavs, I'd trade LeBron first. The Knicks would love to have him and once he played in New York, my guess is that he'd want to stay. Problem is that the Cavs want Porzingis and that ain't happenin'. LeBron is gone next year and nothing the Cavs can do can stop it from happening. Get something worthwhile.

Cavs really have to consider a Celtics offer for Kyrie. He'd be the guy in Boston and there would be enough talent around him to let him be the Man. Would work for the Celtics too.

I'll be happy if the Celtics just stick with what they have........football starts Thursday.

I don't think IT would fit with LeBron.

Anything in the trade machine work with the Pistons?
I believe Gilbert has some serious financial investments in downtown Detroit.

Irving and Thompson for Drummond and Jackson.

Better than Jabbar at 42 or Dikembe Mutombo at 42?

Kareem? I highly doubt it. Part of what kept Kareem relevant during his "old man days" was the fact that he had plenty of help around him. Also, even when he lost much of his athleticism, he still had his skyhook and his ability to pass the ball.

He could probably go out and score 8-10 points per game right now just off his skyhook. lol

Mutombo? Definitely. Mutombo was never much of a scorer anyway. By the time he was old, all he really had left was some blocks and his finger wag.

The trade I want and is probably the best deal is the 3-team trade with New York and Phoenix.

Kyrie gets to lead his own team to 30 wins in New York. The Cavs ship Frye and Shump. And the Cavs get in return Bledsoe and Melo. The money wouldnt matchup perfect bc it is like $2 or $3 mil off

Who would do?

Kyrie for Bledsoe and Josh Jackson? I probably wouldnt do that since Jackson is just a rookie

I would. You're going to be rebuilding after this season anyway. Give a young guy like Bledsoe and a rookie like Jackson a year of playing alongside the best player in the game and it could do wonders for their development. You'd essentially start the rebuild while remaining relevant for at least 1 more season.

Problem is, that trade doesn't work for NY. Also, Melo is focused on Houston and has a no trade clause. Doubt he wants to go to Cleveland's sinking ship at this point.

Josh might entice Cleveland, but it seems they want a true point, which Bledsoe isn't really. I wouldn't give up Josh if I was Phoenix.

Yeah, if Melo went to the Cavs, he'd basically get 1 season with Lebron and then the Cavs would turn into the Knicks on him.

...only he'd be in Cleveland and the move might've killed his marriage.

Kyrie, Shumpert, and Frye for McCollum and Allen Crabbe.
