Shaqdaddy bait post LOL...In all seriousness the reason I took it down was because I didn't want the pic to come up in google on the HurricaneDij name.

As a blogger I had made her my cover story during a local region season, given that she had previously torn her ACL at the meager age of 14. Now that she's in college and a not-so-public figure if you will, I didn't think it'd be fair to publicize her to too much of an extent.

In other words, he blogs about high school girls basketball in his area and has used pictures of the girls he blogs about as his avatar multiple times without knowledge or consent from the girl/family.

We told him multiple times it was a terrible and possibly illegal idea.

At least the last one was over 18.

@trojanfan12 I don't have time to deal with this. The point is I was posed a question and I answered it. And if I didn't answer it, someone else would have. If I truly wanted to glorify myself, I would have lied and said she was my girlfriend and in her upper twenties.

I will take @WiggyRuss 's word but I won't give in to self-important egomaniacs whom are strictly looking to get a rise.

At this point I am done sporting avatars unless I get involved in a bet and/or the Nuggets win the title. I've outgrown the whole practice, anyway.

I am just a firm believer in always erring on the side of caution- because even when you have the best of intentions, often times perception becomes more important than facts

Two things I have a problem with...

1. You put Giannis over Kawhi bc he didn't play in 70 regular season games? But you could say he took a less talented teams to the Finals and won it all and beat a more talented team the Bucks and Giannis. I mean the Bucks looked pretty unbeatable in the regular season, you aren't the best player if you can't get your team to the Finals with a great supporting cast.

2. Harden is above Curry for what reason? In 2018 they were up 3-2 on the Warriors and blew a lead. This past year they lost when the W's didn't have KD. Harden will never be over Curry anytime soon.

My list:

1. Kawhi
2. Lebron
3. Giannis
4. KD (only at 4 bc of the injury otherwise he would be at 2 or 3)
5. Steph

I understand your intent with some of the avatars. But I have to agree with Wiggy, using an underage girls picture on the internet without her or her parents permission just seems like asking for trouble.

Personally, I've never been one to even post pics of my own kids on the internet, let alone someone else's.

Using a picture for the actual blog in a story that is about them is one thing, making that picture your avatar on some message board is another and probably isn't the best idea.

Maybe just pick a generic avatar that represents one of your teams?

As for the actual thread...

It would be interesting to see the reasoning behind some of your changes from last year. There were some significant jumps and drops.

I get your point (and agree to an extent) re: Kawhi. But load management is how it's done now. So I can't say I really agree with his ranking (not that there's anything wrong with #2 lol).

But for example, why did AD drop from #4 last year to #8 this year?

Why did PG jump from #17 to #9?

Westbrook drop from #6 to #10?

Lou Williams had arguably his best year as a pro, but dropped out of the top 50?
