Is Tim Tebow a good NFL QB?

I think he is. He's no Manning (either one), Brees, Brady, or Rogers, but he is a good QB. I don't think Rex Ryan used him effectively. He would throw him in on 3rd and 2 and run him up the middle. When defenses stacked the line and stopped him, Ryan would be like "He sucks". Do I think he would have been starter over Sanchez, no. Do I think if Sanchez was doing horrible, there would be harm to put Tebow in, no.

I admit, I got sucked into the Jets media circus last offseason, and bit on a lot of the baseless speculation. The whole punt protection gimmick could be really interesting, if a team invested the time to develop it. Any punt becomes a feasible fake punt. What about FB? If we're to really take that whole "good football player, not good QB" argument seriously, and he's both physical and good on his feet, is it too late to really screw around with his skill set?

The problem is he probably wouldn't do it. I don't think he's open to playing any other position. I think he'd make a great TE.

Who the hell knows?? Guys has 14 career starts and is 8-6.

Pros: His style allows his team to control the ball for long periods of time keeping your D fresh ( Denver went from a REALLY bad D to a top 10 D all in the same year after he took over for Orton), he rarely turns the ball over because the offense he runs is pretty low risk, its easier to run block than pass block so its easier to keep guys healthy with Tebow at QB and lastly the guys is a winner regardless of anything you can say about him he wins. Has done so at every level

Cons: Limited, limited, limited. Cant really run a wide variance of plays due to his skillset, Tebow run offenses are pretty predictable because of his limitations this means that your team had better execute well. Tebow is a frustrating QB for quality wideouts, has to suck to get open and then have your QB miss you consistently. Cant win the big one with him. I think you can win a division or even a few playoff games with him but cannot see him winning you a SB ( of course this is true about 75% of ALL starters)
