There was no reason to move up for an unproven guy , like you said, only played 1 season in College. Sorry to say, but I'm not so sure Trubs will be in the league in 5 years, maybe I'm wrong . You can tell the guys with the it factor and those 2 guys have it

There was a reason. Our GM wanted his guy after missing on his guy 2 years in a row. He moved up to make sure he got the one he wanted. I'm ok with it, all I wanted was for him to get his guy. Now there is no excuse if things don't work out. And I can't tell you what tomorrow brings let alone 5 years. If Trubisky works out then Pace made the right move. Maybe all three win SBs or maybe all three get hit by a bus. But we won't know who is right until it's over.
