Massive bust, made worse by the two guys drafted after him. It's bad when I would LOVE to see Andy Dalton in a Bears uni right now.

That is what makes it bad if he was the only QB drafted in the first round then it is what it is but Mahomes and watson are killing it.

9x out of 10 that ball he threw to Robinson rolling left, across his body and falling away is picked off by the opposition. Literally just floated a ball into a sea of Dallas defenders. My brain twisted into a pretzel when I saw the replay. Just trying to figure out how the fuck no one jumped it.

He made some plays tonight and kept the offense going at a nice rhythm. I have give him that. But he lived dangerously and it was a bumpier ride than many of the remaining Trubisky apologists are making it out to be. The INT was just putrid on the first drive.

It's funny... three weeks ago there were like three Trubisky apologists left in the entire city. Now, suddenly... it's like half of the fan-base was "always backing him".

I can't stomach opening myself backup to be let down by this kid. I can't. Green Bay is going to end our season next Sunday and Trubisky will probably have a big role in that happening. I just can't allow myself to think any other way.

He's a really good kid. I like him. It's not about that. He's good looking too. I think he should marry a smoking hot chick and cozy up for a nice career as a backup QB. Taking no hits to the body in 90% of games and collect millions in the process. Hell, he's a team-first guy. Would probably be a fantastic backup QB.

If he can get some consistency, I think he could be starter. I'm not sold on his decision making or accuracy.

Is he turning a corner or has he taken advantage of a bad Lions and Cowboys defense in back-to-back games?
I know the Cowboys defense cannot stop anyone and I mean anyone, but I still have to say Trubisky looked good. He probably should have had 1 or 2 more interceptions so I can't say he was great but he completed a lot of tight window passes, ran all over the Cowboys for some big plays and did what he had to for his team consistently all night. At least for one night he looked the part.

He’s the new Goff. Playing just well enough to earn a team crippling contract that sets the team back 5 years.

I agree that he looked good, but alot of those passes were thrown in some tight spots and could have easily been intercepted. Still up in the air on him, but I'd like to see him succeed and have more nights like last night.

This is his second year?

Isn't it a little early to call anyone a bust in just their second year?

That is the problem with today's analysts/fans. Expect a quarterback to step right into the NFL and become an instant success.

One of the reasons today's NFL sees more David Carrs than Peyton Mannings. Not enough time to allow a rookie to develop into an NFL caliber quarterback.
third, and he was a top 2 pick they traded up for...thats the nature of the nfl now a days, you dont sit and learn. this isnt the 90's or early 2000's anymore

i think this is awesome, he played like shit the first half against detroit then balled out second half. Not a perfect night but played very well vs Dallas very overrated defense. let him get a little late season push , keep him with the bears long term

Many on the local radio here are kind of glad he did well as they figure it will be hard to get rid of him playing a bit better and the Bears will keep him thinking the improved play against the recent 3 poor teams they played against was more the reason for the improved play.

That would make him the new Stafford and he would set the team back 50 years.

I'm hoping he is here for the next 10+ years. I always expected him to take 3 years to get up to speed. He barely played in college, just 11 games.

This game didn't prove anything besides the Cowboys quitting on Garrett

Sure it did. It proved Tubisky has the talent to play at this level. It also showed he can read a defense and it showed he can move off his first read and find secondary and third options in the pass game. I get why you would not recognize these things as Goof is your QB.

Bears fans talking about qb play, Goff has lead a team to the Super Bowl including a comeback win on the road in the NFC championship game, while Trubbs beat a team that quit on their coach, yeah their accomplishments are comparable.

Rams have one of the better defenses in the NFL, remind me what Trubbs did in that game again. Forty three pass attempts for 190 yards, they had to make up an excuse about Trubb's hip because they wanted Chevy Chase Daniels to get in there. LMAO...

Jake Delhomme went to a Super Bowl. What else did he do? At this point, Goff would be lucky to have as long a career as Delhomme's.

That explains why his QBR rating was third best in the NFL last year and why he went to the pro bowl. lol 1 in 38 will do that for a guy.
