Kobe had the best all-around stats of anyone in those Finals, and being the undisputed leader of the Lakers there's no doubt he deserved Finals MVP. I would have made a case for Derek Fisher. Kobe also played through a torn ligament on the index finger of his shooting hand that year and wore a cast for the better part of the season because of it, not to mention injuries to his knee. I know you hate Kobe though.
