In 3 years, Browns fans will barely remember this whole ugly situation IMO.

Ask Steeler fans to list Big Ben's top 100 most memorable moments. Not 1 will list the story about him getting handsy in a restaurant bathroom even though that was a pretty big moment at the time.

How many Bronco fans list out Payton Manning's obvious PED use? Patriot fans will only list Brady's deflategate because they feel like it was unjust (even though it was Brady's actions AFTER the investigation that got him rightfully in trouble). 49ers fans dont remember that Montana forced his way out of town and forced the 49ers to accept a lesser offer. Ect, ect, ect.

Keep your head down and sooner than later, Browns fans and the rest of the league is going to fully understand what a steal the Browns got this offseason.
:laugh3: the craziest contract ever & he might get to take a year off to boot. Whether he works out for the Browns or not. How the fuck can you call this a steal? :pound: God forbid if there is an injury after he gets back. That will be crippling!

HOUSTON (AP) — Deshaun Watson returned to practice with the Houston Texans on Monday after not taking part in workouts for almost a week.
Watson reported to camp on time and was on the field for the team’s first five days of practice, participating in individual drills only. When the players wore pads for the first time this season last TuesdayHe continued to be absent from practice until Monday , he did not participate and was not on the field.
when he trotted onto the field with the rest of the team. He only worked during individual drills and went into the indoor practice facility after the first five periods of work. He returned to the field near the end of the two-hour practice and watched as his teammates went through 11-on-11 work.
Coach David Culley refused to say why Watson stopped practicing with the team last week, and he wasn’t available to answer questions regarding his return Monday because he spoke before practice.

I think at best this is what the Browns can expect from Mayfield. Just enough to get paid and not a thing more.
Maybe one of the Browns players has a family member in the Massage Therapy profession?

I'm calling it now.

At the midnight hour (very early in camp) the Browns will trade Mayfield.

I say it will be a 7th but it could be as high as a 5th.

Maybe Mayfield and a 6th or 7th for a 5th.
seems as likely as anything...though for that deal I'm thinking whoever acquires is paying his entire salary

He's with Cleveland.com

Oh good deal. I remember him with the PD. But then again I left NE Ohio more than 16 years ago. But I'm ready to come back home. Never thought I'd say that. But the reasons to get outta CO. and to not return to the Vegas area keep growing.

Cost of living in both places is big for me. The awful air quality around here. Never needed an inhaler around spring time until a couple of years ago. And the looming water issues that are inevitable throughout the SW. The Colorado River is the most endangered river in the country. Not good.

The Browns are 27 mil UNDER the cap WITH Baker

Wtf are they giving up picks for to move his salary?
The 18M could be carried over to help with Watsons deal.

If they don't move him that money will be simply flushed down the toilet.

Unless they end up needing him as he's probably better than Brissett. I do think saving the money matters as much as anything, though.

No matter what they do, just glad it's being done by a FO I trust.

Not even counting Hoop at June 1st. They will be around 36M under the cap with that. If they move full salary for Baker - 54M...even if they were to eat a portion of his salary we are talking $40M+. Picks do not matter...this is ALL money. If teams are debating on mid-round to late round picks the world is flat.
