That's asking me to rank Mayfield as a bust, quit wasting my time.No I wasn't asking you to rank busts at all. You say BM's a total bust. My question is do you think he's as bad as the QB's I mentioned?

-->Mayfield is a bust<-- and I don't care how loud Browns fans claim he isn't. I would rather see what Lock can do.
I don't care if he is slightly less a bust or more of a bust then those you listed, he's a bust. Instead of calling him a bust, lets go with how ducky described him.I listed some QB's that were busts for where they were drafted. You can't even answer if BM is as bad as those other QB's.
You know what I think is comedy gold? Browns fans like you suggesting a 3rd and taking on Mayfield salary isn't asking to much, sightly better then the Brown fan that insisted a 2nd would be needed (and no mention of Browns helping with his salary).
As far as what the Jets got for Darnold, all I can say it only takes one sucker and that trade didn't really work out well for the Panthers so don't see why any team would want to repeat that mistake. The Bridgewater deal is what I feel is fair market value for Mayfield. Guess in time we'll see how this works out.Again. The track of what qbs on his tier are going for is pretty set. Considering Darnold went for a 2nd and two other picks. The difference is one year versus 2 and the situation the Browns find themselves in in terms of needing to find a partner.
You seem to be equating that to how the league views his skill set and not the situation.
I can guarantee coming off 2020 the Browns would've gotten much more than what Darnold went for.
And on a torn labrum the dude still had a better full season than your boy Lock has ever had.

Let's lump Baker into a historical tier. He currently is looking like a Josh Freeman, Jason Campbell, Chad Pennington tier of QB. Guys who when they are under their rookie deals you are OK with. But the moment they get past the rookie deals, they are going to struggle to find starting gigs and hold them simply because they arent good enough to be considered a top half QB and they arent young enough and there is enough tape on them to know they likely are never going to develop into that top half of the league QB.
Maybe Browns fans can accept the above better and maybe bust is to much of a hot button word for Browns fans to accept or concede.

Who is ducky? If he's someone from this site I'll laugh.
They really are....LOL.Lol come on. So Baker minus the contract isn't worth a 6 rounder?
Fucking Sam Darnold went for 3 picks and he's clearly worse than Baker.
You guys are just taking this shit to another level.
Yes he is, but I'm interested in making a list of QBs who I consider busts. Mayfield isn't starting NFL material and he's going to be a back up for the bulk of his career if he stays in the NFL.Is Darnold (17-32) a bust? Trying to figure out which QB's you think are busts and which ones aren't.

Comedy gold...Much of what you say is true....no need to trade for guys you don't think are franchise QBs. But it's funny what you say about the QBs on that list but think Lock has more potential than all of them and is not a bum?
I don't remember Bridgewater ever getting traded for a 3rd round pick. Got a link?Bridgewater was in his 7th season and had multiple serious injuries. Yet still He was traded for a 3rd on a one year deal in 2018. That more directly relates to Baker and what he's produced...and even then Bridgewater had one good year where he wasn't injured.

When did any of those QB's get their team to damn near a title game?I don't care if he is slightly less a bust or more of a bust then those you listed, he's a bust. Instead of calling him a bust, lets go with how ducky described him.

Bridgewater and a 6th, for some reason I had the Jets getting a 6th, so my bad. In any case after Bridgewater bounced back his latest trade value was a 6th and only 3 million in salary for the Broncos.Jets trade Teddy Bridgewater to New Orleans Saints for third-rounder, what it means
