In order for Boise State's softball team to repeat as the MWC champions this year they would have to win all 12 of their remaining MWC games AND Colorado State would have to lose at least 4 of their nine remaining games (3 of which are against Boise State). This seems highly unlikely at best.
But losing all three games vs. San Jose State and two out of three vs. U.N.L.V. is the reason why Boise State is in this untenable position right now.
