Been playing the Seahawks all year except the bye, been sitting the Eagles all yr. except the bye.

The Eagles are poop on paper and beat up.... but have WAY outscored Seattle. Much of this is their return's for TD's, Int/Fumbles for TD's.

Do I stay with Seattle against Dallas and wait for the 'Seattle is DUE' theory or go with the Eagles against the Giants and PRAY they continue a weird first 4 games points wise?

[ Note thought I posted this before but don't see it, sorry if a duplicate ]

defensive TDs are rare... the fact the eagles have so many so far is an anomaly... You should never expect a TD...

Normally I wouldn't sweat any D/ST in my 16 team league, it's not like we have individual D players.... but I've been in some close games and.... it's startin' to bug me...not how much the Eagles have scored.... but the lack of D points even on sacks from Seattle.

It really depends on your scoring system. If there's no danger of receiving a negative score on your defense for points and yards allowed, than feel free to swing for the fences with the team that lives and dies going for the turnovers. Just don't be shocked when they don't get a return TD, and end up with a 0.

But if you can go negative, you'd better stay with Seattle. Like Milk said, you can't predict defensive scores, and if the Eagles don't get one. . They'll hurt your bottom line pretty much every week.

May want to look on waivers and see if the teams that play Jacksonville or Oakland are sitting out there and switch your defense up over the season

Agreed. I think that I like both SD against Oakland and TN against JAX better than either Seattle or Philly defenses this week. Also think that Denver's defense might fare pretty well at NYJ.

I'd be fairly shocked if the Denver and SD defenses are available in most leagues larger than 8 teams..hell I"m in an 8 teamer where both were drafted and have been kept all year long.

I suppose you are right. I drafted the Denver defense in my league, but they have yet to do much. Hoping that they get well at NYJ on Sunday!

I picked up San Diego on waivers a few weeks back in a 12 team league. But am more saying as the season progresses that see if the defense that plays those 2 teams is available if your main top defense has a bad match up.
