That 1 win already saved his job. If he gets another win we're probably looking at him getting extended at least another 7-10 years.

I see some rated that funny and cake reward. ^^^this made me cringe, because it is the Fords making the decision. I would have rated that shit scary if there was one.

You act like this is a rational franchise run by intelligent people. Daryl Rodgers couldn't even figure out why he hadn't been fired yet. Wayne Fontes had the nickname The Big Buck because so many media people were hunting him/trying to get him fired. 95% of the football world already thought Millen should be fired, and they gave him an extension. Didn't he survive a whole 2 seasons after the "Fire Millen" signs started showing up. Another year after the "Millen Man March?"

That old bitch has even started thinking about firing Mayhew yet. She's still trying to figure out why the jerseys they wear look blue when she goes to the games, but appear white if she's watching on TV.

JMO, you had a Notorious BB72 moment. The Gif told the real story.

To be honest, I don't really give a flying fuck. If Mayhew isn't fired, I'll be spending my time on the Tigers board next year.

I think the team at least needed to go 8-8 with the expectations following a playoff appearance last year. Their chances of winning seven more are equal to Blutarsky's GPA ... zero-point-zero.

So, it's buh-bye.

Learning of how some became a fan of certain teams is always cool to learn. I liked the Tigers one from a young small town Texas kid.

As if winning had anything to do with the decisions the Fords make. The only thing that will save Mayhew's job, is if people keep going to the games.

Per average attendance is all the matters.

Pretty sure it started in 2005, the year before his contract extension for another five years. He was oust in week 3 or 4 of 2008. Orlovsky had his first start in week 5 and both Millen and Jon Kitna(IR) were out of the picture.

How many wins will Mayhew need to avoid getting fired at the end of the year?

Mayhew has been around long enough to be putting out winning seasons, playoff wins and Super Bowls. Like Millen, Mayhew is MILKING IT.

If you really look it at, Mayhew has been GM for like 16 years. He's truly been carrying on the Millen torch the whole time, both of them trying to turn this team into the old Colts.
