How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

After the top 10 or so QBs are taken in FFL, I'd entertain taking Wentz.

Wait a teams win/loss record has no effect on fantasy, correct?

We really have no clue if Wentz was brought back too early. It’s possible. But let’s not act like it’s gospel. He was always going to have some rust to knock off. The bigger issue is that the line has not played well. Combine that with a QB coming back from injury and no decent RBs on the roster, it’s not shocking that the offense has struggled. Maybe Wentz was brought back too early. Maybe not.

If you go by the return time table, Wentz was on pace to be back beginning of November. That's actually a fact that was brought up on sports talk more then once but it was pushed to the side cause Wentz kept playing up the week 1 card. The FO panic with Foles looking bad and put Wentz back in too early. He'll say he was ready but I thought it was too soon with that type of injury he sustained. JMO. I'm not saying it's all on Wentz for the 4-5 start, that secondary has to be bottom 5 in the league and that lands on Howie's shoulders.

Thanks man. He was messed up for a while but he’s good new. Great outlook on life. Really a fun guy to be around. He has some great stories about Brady from college. He always says what a great guy and teammate he was.

The Michigan alumni is a tight knit group. They take care of their own... especially with athletes. He’s had some great jobs all via Michigan alumni.

That's awesome he was able to beat that addiction cause that's a tough one to beat. I'm happy for the dude. Funny thing is I rag on Brady from time to time but I have never heard him throw a teammate under the bus and owns up to his mistakes which is why I have respect for the guy.

Thx bro. Seriously, a great guy. I’ve known the guy forever. He’s living in Chicago now.

I loved what James Harrison said about Brady. He said “I hated the guy my whole career. As soon as Blount joined the Steelers I went right up to him and asked what Brady was really like. Blount said he was a great guy and a great teammate. I didn’t believe him. Then I get signed by NE and I go in there ‘looking’. I get to the locker room and the first guy who walks up to me is Brady. He’s all smiles, welcome to the team, blah blah blah. I figured it was fake. Then over the next few weeks I see how hard the guy works. I see how he’s always encouraging teammates and I’m like ‘damn it... this guy really is a good guy and teammate’.

Haha. It was a great interview.

Haha

You knew there was NO WAY he was gonna post here after Dak outplayed Wentz.

NO WAY!!

:pound:

He did outplay him. Wentz was bad for 2.5 quarters. It happens. I just don’t have 45,000 posts on here and on here every minute. Got shit to do! Eagles are cooked. Big trouble with our secondary facing Brees in NO in 6 days. Majorly disappointed. Wentz missed a lot of throws in the first half.

Ooh.
I must add. That LVE kids played fantastic. Dallas has been incredible with there first round picks for a decade. Kid is dynamite

I’ve got a good friend who was an all American TE at Michigan. He played 2 years with Brady. When he showed up for the senior bowl the other TE on his team was LJ Smith. LJ showed up and told the coaches that he had a tender knee so he didn’t want to play much. That meant my buddy got ALL the practice reps.

He goes out and bc he had all the reps he has a monster game! Before the draft he was projected to go in the mid rounds. After the game he was the second TE taken in the draft which was early in the second round.

He shows up at camp and blows out his acl. Out for the year. Rehabs for a year and blows out the other acl the following training camp. He gets cut, makes a few practice squads and ends his career in Seattle the year Seattle was signing guys off the street to play. I think he won some type of special teams/fan appreciation award while there.

My point is he always felt like the team was pushing him back. He would complain about the pain but all they did was give him pain meds (which he got hooked on). He always points out the me the “coldness” of the business.

Look, the eagles are banking a lot on Wentz. They want him to be the face of the franchise for the next decade. The last thing they wanted was a QB controversy with Foles. As soon as Foles lost one game they seized the opportunity to yank him and insert Wentz. There was no way he was fully healed and getting hit again has to be messing with his head.

Too bad. He seems like a genuinely nice kid.
I didn't really know your buddy, but we crossed paths a few times in AA. Real nice dude. Especially for a huge MFer.

Haha ya

Yeah... I’m sure it was bc you were “busy”. Somehow I think that if Wentz had played better you would have found the time.

Your friend would be great to sit with and have a few beers to listen to his stories. I couldn't live in Chi town, winters are to brutal for me.

That right there is why I respect Brady over AR. I'm not saying AR isn't a good dude, but his throwing teammates under the bus and placing blame on others and not owning it is why I just don't like him.
