If the Eagles try & dick Foles & Fran tag him keeping him from going to whatever team he wants.
He signs the Fran tag gets the raise from the eagles & doesnt negotiate with teams. No team will trade for a fran tag QB they cant lock up long term.
This forces the Eagles to play him, because they wouldnt be able to trade him. You are not gonna sit a fran tag Qb on the bench.

Only reason is if they were gonna keep him, but if they were doing that they would sign him to a long term deal to relieve some cap space for next year.

So long & short of it. He wont be Fran tagged.
