Why do the Eagles keep fixating on Wentz?

Foles seems, to me anyway, to be nothing but upside.

I would have stuck with him all year.

Don't get me wrong, i like Wentz, i really do. He's such a swell guy, but he has major injury written all over him. Trade him well he's still worth something.
I'm sure they can get a couple of 2nds in exchange for Wentz.

Add me to this... Wentz... great guy. The story about why he wears the bracelet... big statement about him as a man.

He’s yet to prove that he’s 1) a superstar 2) phenomenal 3) a franchise QB. Anyone who says that is PROJECTING him to BE that... someday but as we sit here today... he’s an injured QB that didn’t play well this year and left his team for dead before turning the team over to his backup who raised them from the dead.

If you remove the outlier (btw, that’s not “cherry picking ... it’s routinely done when analyzing numbers so as to understand the TRUE value of the numbers) the total is reduced to 77. When you divide 77 by now 10 games you see the AVERAGE DROP significantly to 7.7 average points in the first half. That’s just barely a TD AVERAGED in the first half of eagles games started by Wentz. That’s bad... I mean REALLY bad.

2) let’s look more into the numbers. Eagles were only able to ACTUALLY achieve more than 10 points in 3 games out of 11 games. 3 out of 11!!! When you look even further you see that those 3 games were against the Redskins (who were without Alex Smith) and the NYG (twice). The Giants are among the worst teams in the league and the Redskins without Alex Smith are terrible as well.

3) the Eagles ACTUALLY scored LESS than 10 points in 4 of the 11 games. Those games were against Minny, NO and Dallas (twice). Let’s put aside the NO game even though NO is not known for its defense. Look at who the remaining games were against: minny and Dallas (twice). These are the TWO teams that are currently keeping the Eagles out of the playoffs. These were the BIG games!! If the Eagles win ANY of those three games their playoff picture looks MUCH different than it currently does. That means the Wentz led offense didn’t get it done in the biggest games of the year. They didn’t get it done CONSISTENTLY in the big games. Compare that to Foles in the BIG games: 13 on the road against the current second seeded Rams and 13 against a very solid Texans defense.
