Wrong. He isn’t “special”.

Also, a lot of people started to question Wentz’s “greatness” when the eagles lost him but still won the SB. He hasn’t done anything this year to disprove them in the eyes of objective fans.

Honestly... can you just take a minute to read this. @Schmoopy1000 @SteelersPride I think this shows you he's pretty freaking special.

1. Wentz on Sunday in London extended his streak of games with at least one touchdown and one or fewer interceptions to 21, tying the NFL record set by Matt Ryan of the Falcons over the 2015 through 2017 seasons. For the sake of comparison, the next-longest current streak is Philip Rivers’ nine-game streak.

2. When the season began, Wentz ranked 36th in NFL history in career completion percentage at 61.5 percent (minimum 1,000 passes). Just six games later, he’s moved up to 18th at 63.3 percent.

3. Wentz has completed 66 percent of his passes in all six games he’s played. Only nine quarterbacks have ever had a longer streak of consecutive games completing 66 percent of their passes.

4. He also increased his career touchdown pass total to 62, fourth-most in NFL history by a quarterback in his first 35 games, behind only Dan Marino (81), Kurt Warner (75) and Matt Stafford (65).

5. Wentz against the Jaguars became only the second quarterback in NFL history to fashion a passer rating of 115 or higher in four straight games with 30 or more pass attempts. Peyton Manning did it in 2012.

6. Wentz is one of only three QBs in NFL history (minimum 1,000 career attempts) who’s averaged fewer than 1.9 interceptions and more than 4.9 touchdowns per 100 attempts. The others are Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

7. Wentz is the first QB in NFL history to open his season with six straight games with 66 percent accuracy, at least one TD pass and one or fewer interceptions. Only Drew Brees has ever had a longer streak within one season.

8. In his first 35 career games, Wentz had 27 games with at least one touchdown and one or no interceptions. Only Russell Wilson (29) had more. Among those tied for third is Nick Foles with 24.

9. Wentz’s 109.6 passer rating is highest in Eagles history at the midpoint of the season. The previous high Michael Vick’s 105.3 in 2010.

10. Wentz is riding a streak of 20 consecutive games going back to 2016 with a passer rating of at least 83 going. The only longer streaks in NFL history belong to Manning (24 in 2012 and 2013) and Rivers (22 from 2008 through 2010). The longest previous such streak in Eagles history was seven games by Vick in 2010 and Donovan McNabb in 2006.

you know what I find weird.
When Zeke was suspended & we lost our left tackle & D-lineman were hitting on Dak like a Drunk whore at a sailor convention. You say Dak has been exposed referring to him not being that good of a QB. he was a product of the guys around him.

Yet last year the eagles pretty much had it all. Good coaching, run game line defense the whole (pardon the pun) 9 yards. This year team not doing as well & he struggles to get the team points. Does this mean he was merely a product of the guys around him & he really wasnt as good as advertised?

Hypocrites Anonymous would like to know.

When that was happening to Dak he was awful. No one has called Wentz awful HUUUUUGE difference my man. HUGE!

I read it... yawn.

What’s the teams record again? How is he performing in the clutch.

ALL the passing records are being assaulted bc of the new rules. Honestly, this isn’t impressive. I’m not just saying that. I know you don’t believe me and I’m good with that. Time will tell who is right/wrong.

The fact is the team last year won all its playoff games including the SB without him. He hasn’t led them to the same type of success this year. In fact, he’s far from it.

That makes him “not special”.

Now youre just trolling and being unobjective. Thats just silly man.

Wentz does not have an “elite” arm. You need to look up the word “elite”.

Now, I have a serious question for you:

Which feat is more impressive?

Winning ROY or “almost” (and by almost I mean getting 2 votes) winning MVP.

Thank you for reading it. Its pretty phenomenal what hes done this year with almost no help and the team crashing and burning. Again... for the 25th time. The 2018 Eagles have a lot of problems... Wentz aint one of them.

Its not even debatable. If he didnt get hurt he might have won. ROY is going up against about 5 to 10 guys who are actually starting as rookies. Winning MVP you're going up against the entire league.

Michael Carter Williams won ROY of the year.
Lebron James wins MVP

I totally agree with you. Totally. Wentz needs to get better in some areas but the guy isn’t even fully healed yet. I got @dbldwn711 saying ROY is more important then being an MVP candidate. You know... those great recent ROY like RG3, Eddie Lacy, Sam Bradford, Vince Young, Anthony Thomas, Leonard Russell and Percy Harvin. That list crushes Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees Payton Manning and Ladanian Tomlinson

Honestly... can you just take a minute to read this.

The longest previous such streak in Eagles history was seven games by Vick in 2010 and Donovan McNabb in 2006.
honestly this has more to do with the era he is in as far as passing league hamstring the defenses. All these 1st so many games & passing records will continue to fall & change right now. While I am not trying to dismiss what he has done. he did have a good year last year. These points arent as amazing as they seem.

While I am not trying to dismiss what he has done. he did have a good year last year. These points arent as amazing as they seem.
yeah theres 4 guys on pace for 5000 yards, and 11 on pace for 4500, 20 on pace for 4000

Let me help you.

First, Dak best Wentz for ROY. (They both had the same rookie season)

Second, he didn’t “almost” win ROY. Brady got 40 first place votes. Gurley got 8. Wentz got 2. The rest of the league got 0. He was 2 votes better than the rest of the league.

Third, whatever “praise” he got last year via that vote is being called into question bc a) the team won the SB last year without him (the vote took place before the playoffs) and b) he hasn’t been any good this year and the team has a losing record with him.

You can keep giving your opinion but those are facts.
