I'd bet the Jackets really like Lindstrom. A 1-2 punch of him and Adam "Fusilli" Fantilli at C would be pretty enticing. If his injury issues are a concern, or he's already taken maybe they take Sennecke.
And let's not forget Sillinger at 3C.

There's some talk that Montreal is laser locked on Lindstrom, so if he is there and the Jackets are worried about the injuries we could see a move. Get something else to not pick a guy we weren't going to anyway. Or maybe someone else wants to move up a few if someone like Demidov is there.

I've seen a few mock drafts and several of them have the Jackets taking a defenseman even if Lindstrom is still on the board. The Habs might also take a defenseman, but I've also seen either Lindstrom or Iginla selected depending on who's available.

With 4 potential steady NHL D men in the AHL and 3 expendable D men on the NHL roster it would not make a ton of sense to pick a D man -especially when the 4 forwards that would not be a reach are all C or can play C and that's an organizational weakness.

If a Markstrom trade to the Devils is revisited at the draft and the Devils would include pick #10, I would hope Conroy pulls the trigger. Picks #9 and #10 for the Flames would be huge.

Really hoping it's them that does it because Bradley trading the Leafs' 1st rounder for Marky terrifies me.

do you think he is worth a 1st round pick? At his age, cost and injury history?

There will likely have to be some salary retention which is always dicey with Murray Edwards, but I think Marky can still provide good enough goaltending to get the Devils into the play-offs. He's certainly an upgrade in net for NJ.

Do the Jackets pick Tij right before the Habs?!? It might be tough if Lindstrom is still available.

Personally I have as 4th-5th among forwards in this draft. I think Lindstrom has the better tools but Iginla seems to have the "it" factor. I'd lean towards Lindstrom but could see the appeal of Iginla. I like Mack, Demidov, and Sennecke better than Tij though.
