Travis Konecny at 33 on Craig's List? No way I see him dropping out of the first round (I think he's taken before we hit pick 20)

Saw him a couple of times against Oshawa. If available, I would love to see the Leafs get him at 24.

The Devils are pretty loaded with young D, we're already maxed out at the pro level and have 2 or 3 guys that are banging on the door in the minors so I'd be shocked if they went D at 6. If they do, I think you can expect some of their D to get shipped out for young forwards. I could see a guy like Jon Merrill getting moved if that's the case. It'll be interesting to see how Shero values the guys we have here already. He hasn't signed or drafted any of these guys so he has no loyalty to any of them.

I want a forward, just not Crouse.

Sounds like you and ARI are destined to be trade partners then

I am pleased by all of the names hovering around spot #8 on all these rankings.

My wish list, in order (preference and likelihood);
Provorov
Rantanen
Werenski
Hanifin (Best choice, but least likely to be there)
Crouse

You may notice that I believe the Jackets need a little size.

This is the first time in a while I've seen Zacha that high. Gonna be an interesting one to watch as draft day unfolds.

I'm not gonna miss hearing what time the guy had practice at as a six year old and what size skate he wore as a peewee though.

By the time next season is over, you're gonna know which church Jack Eichel received first communion in and whether he chewed the wafer or swallowed it once it got soft.

But who each player's coach was in Midget AA is critical info that we are not going to get.

Just like knowing that they used to put 93 octane Esso gasoline into the family's 1994 Plymouth Grand Voyager. Even though they knew that the 93 octane would provide no appreciable performance benefit to their Grand Voyager, the symbolism of high octane was not lost on the players.

Heard there was also going to be an analysis of whether Grand Voyager or Grand Caravan families produced more NHL players on a pro-rata basis. Guess we will never know now....:noidea:

The more I'm seeing these rankings, the more I'm thinking I'd be very happy with Mitch Marner.

Having said that, unless they move Kessel prior to the draft I think he's staying, and if he's staying they're probably going to draft either a C or D. Which is also okay with me, because I think the league is going to get 3 or 4 top six C's out of this first round.
