That was a good movie.

Another obscure role was Chet in Weird Science.

lol that movie was great. Best laugh ever. RIP Bill Paxton :(

Chet! Weird science was one of my favorites. One of my first introductions to both Bill & Robert Downey lol.

Can we also take a moment to appreciate how good some makeup fx were back then? Ahead of its time!

Wife & I did a Hannibal Lecter marathon last night... for the umpteenth time

Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Hannibal (2001)
Red Dragon (2002)

Anthony Hopkins is absolutely brilliant... Makes my skin crawl every time

side note... Still haven’t watched the tv series. Always been interested in watching it.

Should top it off with Manhunter from the 80s starring the CSI dude.

DUH! He did survive an F5 tornado though!

Speaking of Bill Paxton, a good movie (not really horror) with him that I don't think a ton of people know about is "A Simple Plan". Pretty good, Billy Bob Thornton and Bridget Fonda are in it too.

Very good movie and I've always liked Paxton since Weird Science and Aliens.

For sure, Bill Paxton is definitely an underrated actor (shame he passed). Not every day you can say that you had some of the most memorable quotes from one of the best sequels (and easily best horror sequel) of all time.

I forgot to mention that A Simple Plan was a Sam Raimi deal. I believe this was his first attempt at a non-horror movie. This is another guy I think has done some great stuff, including Evil Dead, some Spidey stuff and, yes, Xena! She and Gabrielle were the bomb!:nod::nod:

Never saw that one! Guess I got some plans for Friday night or the weekend! 7+ pointer on IMDB with 30K+ votes. @FaCe-LeE-uS where the hell have you been!? I don't see horror listed but vampires, it's gotta be up that alley!

Finally saw Doctor Sleep and loved it. Definitely more sci-fi/thriller than horror but still had elements of horror.

Also saw Ready or Not, really fun movie.

Just watched Ready or Not on HBO.
Good amount of gore and laughs.

2/3 was really good with high energy, but I felt the ending kind of fell flat.
A lot of folks talk about the explosive ending, but to me it felt rushed.

*shrug*

lol... Going through the IMDB page for it and came across this:

MV5BMTQ5MzMwOTAzMl5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwODc5ODg2Nw@@._V1_.jpg

That's the look of a man banging his cast... John E Seymor, co-producer & casting director of that movie.

:heh:
She's a tiny little thing! His nose is almost as big as her whole head!

As for banging the cast... I guess it's no surprise that this was her biggest role.
