So Im incredibly stoked for the Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark movie to come out(those books were some of my favorite as a child). Here's a few ads for it:


I honestly am not sure how they plan to turn stories into an actual movie but it looks fun. Here's hoping they go for a hard R instead of PG-13

"meh, the last two I can recall watching were Primal Rage: The Legend of Oh-Mah, think it was either written or directed by a cat that did a lot of work on more premiere movies in the costume realm. Wasn't horrible, wasn't good, That said, you could give it a watch.

Return of the Living Dead III, actually a lot better than I was expecting. Bad sets to start with (and they do go back there), but from a story standpoint wasn't too bad overall."

Recently watched the Suspiria remake and Overlord.

Did not care for Suspiria, too strange, too artsy.

Overlord wound up being more science fiction than horror but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

I'm not sure if this question has been asked and/or answered yet but with the new Child's Play coming out to theaters, does that mean that the original series that has recently been having DTV releases is done?

Didn’t even hear about the remake... Man I’m slippin lately!

Looked it up and it’s being directed by some Norwegian dude I don’t think I’ve ever heard of. He directed Polaroid which looks familiar but not sure if I’ve seen it. That said, I’m a sucker for Aubrey Plaza so i’ll give it a watch when it comes out.

As for the TV series... Not sure? My guess is Don Mancini is going to leave that bookmarked as open to return so that he can milk it for every penny that he can. If anything this remake will boost its viewership. Strike while the iron’s hot sotospeak!

Btw I don't know if you guys have heard of Kingdom on Netflix but I HIGHLY recommend it. The Koreans are killing it in the zombie department lately!

Saw Overlord last night. I didn't think that it was bad but nothing that needs to be watched more than once. I was also expecting a different type of movie after watching the previews. 2.5 out of 5 stars.

The majority of the movie was them planning on blowing up a tower. The last 20 minutes it was more of a zombie movie.

From the sounds of it, there are multiple rights holders to the franchise. Universal & MGM.

So Mancini has nothing to do with this remake? And Brad Dourif won't voice Chucky? How bizarre! Sounds like a cash grab by MGM.
