Ok then!
Back to A Quiet Place. Again, a lot to like in this movie. Visually well done. Soundtrack is really, really good. Creatures are awesome (I think they went over the top with the head design towards the end but a small complaint).
As noted, they could have used more backstory, empty city apocalyptic scenes, early creature attacks, etc. but were probably limited by budget and time constraints.
Good movie. Well worth watching! But........

....I had some big problems with story.
Not sure where the creatures came from and they had some impressive strengths (speed, weapons, some armor, etc) but considering their weaknesses I don't see how they wiped everyone out. It obviously didn't happen in a snap because they not only had a newspaper headline of they event, but it stated that they knew that the creatures operated by hearing, and all of the stores are raided empty also.
Considering this information, how in the f did they wipe out everyone out? You know that everyone would be blasting every sound frequency possible to see what effect it had. It should have been concluded how to incapacitate the creatures very quickly. Instead we have to wait a year and a half until they stumble into it while concocting a makeshift hearing aid? Makes no sense.
Add to this that they are supposably armoured but the mom blows off a creature's head with 1 shotgun blast! Doesn't exactly seem invulnerable to me.
So, let's assume that they did manage to destroy everyone despite their juxapostion of strengths and weaknesses. The farmhouse not a good location to begin with and their use of it made even less sense. They managed to soundproof a small area under the house but did it very poorly. They should have done a very large area and made this their main base, and only come up to the rest of the house and area as needed.
Better yet, as previously noted, build a shelter NEAR THE FRICKIN WATERFALL!!
《Problem solved! 》
Still a quite good flick but could have been epic with a bit more budget, time, and addressing these issues.
