Montgomery 80yd run from first play of the game for the Bears......nice start....
What's with the helmets?
30 pts in the first half......?......when was the last time we did that......?Best half of football we’ve played all year!
So they do this now when the pressure is basically off/playoffs are a pipe dream?
Sigh. What a season.
Maybe Nagy won't be fired now.
Wasnt a guarantee he was ever gonna be.
It’s more likely Pace is fired and the new GM hangs on to Nagy for one more season before making a change.
**DavidBeen a loooooooooooong time since I've been able to give out game balls, being I only give them when we win.
Offense:
Mitch Trubisky - He was on it today, his best game without question this season. Quick, crisp, decisive passes. His play action and rollouts are what kept the Houston defense at bay.
Mike Montgomery - Monty has really impressed the last few games, even those we lost. His opening TD run set the table for the rest of the day.
Allen Robinson - And the Bears are likely not going to offer AR an extension.....why?
Defense:
Kahlil Mack - A strip/recovery, a sack, a PD....Mack seemed to be all over the backfield today.
Roquan Smith - This season's team MVP simply had another excellent game.
Bilal Nichols - He made his disruptive presence known early, when it mattered most.
In reality, the entire team in every phase deserves a game ball - even the coaches. Far and away the best game of the year by the Bears. Was a true joy to watch for a change.
DOH!!!!**David
