Holiday Bowl vs USC Discussion Thread

I have ticked off trojanfan12. Imagine that.

I saw USC beat Nebraska in 1968 and they did not bring OJ with them. (yes, I know OJ was drafted blah blah blah) I was also in Lincoln for the 2007 loss. I am swearing off ever attending another Nebraska USC game because I never see a win.

Later on, I noticed how USC had these hot cheerleaders in these outfits that did something to me.

I don't think I've ever seen trojanfan mad. It's hard not to like the USC song girls. Wish doom was around atleast OD is back for bowl season

No way to really gauge what to expect with the old staff, minus Bo.

There are some here that are quite angry that Bo got fired. I say he was a bloviating fraud and LOL at them.

Don't know what to think of this game.

With Bo I'd have expected a loss. No idea without him. Maybe these guys can put together a solid game plan without his influence.

Saturday night. I'll be back at home at the parental's house for the weekend with no responsibilities at all.

Gonna be a good drunken matchup. And I hate USC badly.

The good thing about this game is it's on a Saturday night and Nebraska/USC get Prime Time all by their lonesome on TV (ESPN).

The last couple of bowl games have had competition for eyeballs.

They'll be the only game on.

I like the matchup but the recruiting opportunity and the chance to give the B1G a better National perception (with a win) are what stand out to me.

Depends on a lot how Kessler plays and which USC shows up. They have been night and day all year. We also have had some problems stopping the run and our secondary has been lazy at times. And we haven't faced a back of Abdullah's level. I'm glad it's Saturday and prime time both schools deserve it and it will be a classic

As I mentioned in another thread, he is nothing but a focal point. Someone to handle the little stuff, like making sure the team has enough towels.
I am willing to bet that he does slightly more during the game than he has for the last 7 years.

Him being the "head" coach will have no effect on the game.
