On a couple of positive notes.

It's impossible for Nebraska to end up with a losing season. The worst they can do is (9-4) overall and when looked back upon that is all that will really be looked at. Texas could end up with a losing season (6-7) if they lose to Arkansas.

If Bo was micro-managing (as some have suggested), there is the potential that the Huskers could play better without his influence on everything. I imagine everybody down to the waterboy will have input on game plan and prep.

There was a game a few years ago when Bo had heart problems and was taken to the hospital at halftime. If I remember right, the team started playing a lot better with the coordinators running the show.

SC has a formidable DL, our OL is featuring 2 of our interim HC's sons as starters, one of which appears to be narcoleptic. The entire OL with its Subs hasn't put forth a very good effort since Miami back in the OCC schedule.

I love to bet on games with real money, but this one is a complete unknown.

USC is a good team. I really wish this game was not played in California, because these latest USC teams do not play well on the road against any team. I really wish the game was played in El Paso, I know what USC thinks of that place and it would give them bad, bad memories.

Nebraska might just come out angry about Bo and want to win it for Bo. Or Nebraska could come out angry and want to lose it for Bo. The Nebraska coaches could be in complete "I don't care mode."

Someone else pointed out, the coaches are doing this and looking for a job. The good news, their job search is not a hurry as they are paid until 2016, so there is no desperation. It is also a way to showcase themselves, but if the players are in a crummy mood, not much can be done about that, other than a real coach would be able to do something about it.

If I was forced to pick a winner, it would be USC.

This is going to be a really tough game to win. In 2009 I remember watching the Arizona vs USC game, hoping USC would win it so we could play them. Since Nebraska had never beaten them before, I thought Nebraska had a great chance to do so back then in the Holiday Bowl. Unfortunately, Arizona won the damn game.
