Holiday Bowl vs USC Discussion Thread

I see where Vegas is coming from. I watched the USC vs Notre Dame game and the Trojans looked very impressive.

with all of the unknowns going into the offseason this game may be a rough one for Husker fans. USC is no slouch so the boys will have to rise to the occasion.

I have ticked off trojanfan12. Imagine that.

I saw USC beat Nebraska in 1968 and they did not bring OJ with them. (yes, I know OJ was drafted blah blah blah) I was also in Lincoln for the 2007 loss. I am swearing off ever attending another Nebraska USC game because I never see a win.

Later on, I noticed how USC had these hot cheerleaders in these outfits that did something to me.

When did that happen?

If the USC bettors don't give the points, you are losing some easy money. I would be all over giving Nebraska 6 points. I have never, ever, ever bet against Nebraska will real money. vcash, I do that all the time, but real money I only bet ON Nebraska. I am not betting this game that is for sure.

Am I the only one that took Tom Osborne's email in a sort of funny way? Just why did Tom specifically mention that he did not know Mike Riley?

He could have just said, I wish him all the best.

But he didn't. He started with that he did not know Mike Riley. Obviously, I am a conspiracy theorist. It could actually mean, Tom Osborne does not know Mike Riley.

If you're talking about one of the Mike Riley threads, I was never mad. Just didn't understand why there was so much overreaction to a coach that you guys don't know much about and who has been doing a very good job with very limited resources.

As for the Holiday Bowl. For USC, it depends on which team shows up. If the team that played against UCLA shows up, Nebraska wins. If the team that played Notre Dame shows up, USC wins.

Hopefully, Husker players will respond like USC players did in our bowl game last year. USC's players played like they were trying to show Sark how good they were. If Nebraska does that and the USC that played the Domers shows up, it'll be a really good game.

Also, if I'm Nebraska's coaches, I'm on the phone with Riley trying to get some scoop on USC.
