and to the actual article.. i think they're overestimating the flyers, pens and caps.. only by a couple spots, but they weren't THAT good last season to lose semin, staal, jagr, michalek, and carle, and still be 3 of the top 5

So...that means that in the Beast, they have the Caps winning the Southleast, the Bruins winning the Northleast, and either the Pens or Rangers winning the Bestlantic.

And out in the Worstern Conference, Vancouver winning the Northbest, Los Angeles winning the Pacific, and they have St. Louis or Chicago winning the "Look, I didn't want to live in Missouri either, but I had a job here. Stop tormenting me with it every day, you crazy bitch!"

I think this is the 5th or 6th year in a row they have the Devils missing the playoffs. At least in the write up they didn't mindlessly bash the team like they normally do.

I'd predict the Pens finishing 5-6 in the East. Rangers will win the division unless catastrophe strikes. I think it's going to be Atlantic heavy again in the East, but the Canes may force one ATL team out of the picture. I don't think Florida has another postseason year though.
