The big question will be next year, as teams will have film and a feel for Trestmans offensive coaching style. Teams will take away what we do best and Tman will either adjust also or falter then. But for now I stay at a solid B grade.

Going for it today was dumb.

The officiating sucked, all around, working for and against us. The "alleged" hold on Hessy's return was GARBAGE.

Our D is putrid. Historically bad. I do not recall seeing a worse run defense in my years watching football. They are horrible. Top to bottom.

Just think T-man felt he would get another call.
Actually like the aggressive nature he's showing . Just think it'll pay off in the long run.

Right?

lol... Every time Clemens faded back to pass instead of handing it off, it was an immediate sigh of relief. At least temporarily.

Aggressive is fine, let's just not be stupid in the process. It was 4th and almost 2 yards, not 2 inches!? We were down by ten, needing a FG anyway, and there was still a quarter and a half to play.

It was a poor decision, aggressive or not.

Not to mention, I think it's time to kill the Bush project.

Well guys, I'm a Trestman fan. The Bears have improved on offense from where they were in 2012. They're currently ranked 8th in total yards, and rank 4th in points-per-game. (In 2012, they were 28th and 16th respectively.)

That said, I'm sad/upset/disappointed by the fourth quarter penalty-filled redzone fiasco.

At the 14:39 mark of the 4th, the Bears began driving downfield. They got to the Rams 24-yard line. If you include the multiple penalties, the Bears essentially had 11 chances to score. Eleven!! And six of those were from the one-yard line!

That to me was highly discouraging. Especially considering the strides the offense was making. It's almost as if the offense took a step back.

If Trestman is the guru that some say he is, then there has to be a play (or six of 'em) in his arsenal that is designed to gain one yard.

As bad as that was, then Bears are still in the hunt.

P.S. I should point out, that Michael Bush did eventually score (on the 11th try). The gist of my angst was that the elite offensive teams don't struggle to put points on the board once they're in the red zone.

I'm not calling the Bears offense elite. But they're closing in on that designation IMO. At least they were. And that's what has me upset.

Just think T-Mans calls aren't the problem. Lack of execution is.

I think he's been a good playcaller...good feel of the game, but aggressive.

There have been a couple head-scratchers, but the O is definitely not the problem (redzone could be better)

And it's hard to blame Tucker, or least fairly judge him, when half his squad is injured, and the other half are rookies or suck, or both.

I would stack the box this week with as many guys as I dared. Make Ponder hafta make some plays.

It's frightening to think what AP could do to this D on his turf.

His red zone play calling last week was weak. IMO. But overall he has been dang good. 1 brain fart here and there for sure. He. Will make me scratch my head sometimes tho.

i kinda agree but its the players too, why try to run it into the teeth of the defense on the Goal Line?? If they are expecting us to do that, at least try a pass to M Bennett .

some people dont like his go for it on 4th downs, i don't but last weeks game he did the right thing, we needed the points. if it woulda worked and Hester got that punt return it would have been a game.

I can't fucking wait to hear the fucking retarded explanation for that shit.
