If I was the Coach, Alex would be starting no doubt about it . We are talking a huge Difference.
Anothe obeservation I have been making is
take a look at were Williams \them did way better per carry were Alex games started .I also stated he was no different for all our RBs they all did way better and he was just fine at pass pro .
We need a playmaking rb. It should be one of our top priorities. I wish we had drafted Bucky Irving last year
Most of the top RBs san Gibbs are "retread" former 1st round picks on another team. We need a better running game. I favor more OLinmen in the first and skilled positions later unless a can't miss TE is sitting at our spot.Watching the game tonight with Jacobs and Gibbs helping both of their teams yeah I would say that is our biggest need. If Bolles leaves LT becomes the biggest need, but getting a RB that can make teams have to fear the run game just opens up the entire offense.
I definitely get having a strong run game is important. I still don't think our Center is the reason our run game has had some struggles. I think it is just Williams not seeing the open holes and our RB's struggling to break tackles. McGlaughlin and Estime though have both shown they can do just fine with the unit we have. I think moving forward other than in passing situations they will lean towards those two to carry the ball.
point differential per game is also a great statNet points early in the year don’t hold a lot of weight, as one blowout win or loss skews the stats. But now that teams have played 12/13 games, they start being legit to look at. Here are the top 7 in the AFC. Coincidentally none of the other AFC teams have a positive. How close is it to where you would rank the teams?
Buffalo - 131 (10 wins)
Pittsburgh (9 wins) and Chargers (8 wins) - 72
Broncos* - 71 (8 wins)
Baltimore* - 75 (8 wins)
Kansas City - 54 (11 wins)
Texans* - 20 (8 wins)
