How about we watch 2019 draft play tonight:

Spence 95th pic 119games 5g 32a

Turcott 5th pick 46games 2g 7a career

Cozens 7th pick 298games 69g 109a
Krebs 17th pick 232games 22g 50a

I know i know, like Buster we are taking our time developing him in hopes he busts out in 5 or 6 more seasons.

Would be cool if arty retardy and Portillo saw time in this game as thats their draft year as well Portillo being a Saber pick no less

Arty Retardy skating in a non contact jersey, he should be ready to go by the end of December I'm thinking. Whether or not he actually gets in a game is a different issue considering his relationship with the Kings and how he was scratched so much last season.

That 2019 draft class looking less and less shiny as we move along.

Stuck with him but at least take him off the PP and extra attacker times.....

Chains whiffing open net yet again. Oh well its just a L

Pass was in his feet and not great, broke his stick whacking the post but yeah he was set up for a gimme and chunked it.

Then Kempe has the one timer wide open and misses the net altogether with Buster in front of the net, the Sabres just seem to have LAs number.

Rittich solid but the team didn't give him any help at all. That's now 1-3 in the last 4 games, December is coming...

At this point, I am not sure who is more of a disappointment. Buster has been a whooping buy for most, but I am starting to really think Fiala is a bust. He does show flashes but I cant count the amount of times he loses the puck, takes a bad penalty or blows a pass on the PP. He seems to be a high risk high reward type of guy but seems like lately he is just a risk.

He has always been high risk high reward, like that in Nashville and Minnesota so coming to LA that should have been expected. At this point in his career he isn't going to change, maybe when he becomes irrelevant later in his career he will morph into some defensive checker but that's way down the road if at all.

He is what he is, an enigmatic offensive player. He's in a drought for sure but since he's been in LA he's been an almost PPG player. Unfortunately the bone head penalties and WTF were you thinking passes are part of his DNA.

He's a decent player but the timing of his acquisition was wrong, he wasn't the type of player LA needed. That trade is one of the reads Blake completely screwed up on.

Fiala also seems to struggle early on in the season and then goes on a tear in the second half.
