Not possible...
He is not our offensive coordinator, so the gross failures of the defense and special teams should land on his head and thats game time decision making.

Yeah... once again... just... go away
sorry, I didnt know this was your fucking forum that you can pick and choose who stays and goes.
You want to kiss trestmans ass, thats up to you, to me he looks like a deer in the headlights on the sidelines. Your defense blows, why the fuck dont you take the ball when you win the toss and plan on getting ahead? Thats old bears defense football, start the game with a three and out, that does not exist anymore. You have an offensive force you take the ball and drive down the field and score first.
Maybe you should be the one that goes away.
If Trestman would have just taken the OC job offered to him two years ago, we would be talking dynasty now. Oh what could have been.

although maybe this belongs in the response to my rant about the Adam Podlesh thread...you know, fitting into the category of things that are not the reason the Bears are not a top level team.
Top Non-Reasons the Bears Not Top Level Team
5. Chris Conte's run defense
4. Sideline clothing worn by coaches
3. Kickoff alignment
2. Adam Podlesh
1. Decisions after winning the coin toss
The Bears haven't won a coin toss since the New York game, at least not according to ESPN play-by-play (which omits results of GB game coin toss).
Dont you down play the decision after the coin toss. Clearly heads or tails is the real decision we need to address.
So Trestman sucks because of the decision to differ? please stay, every town needs a village idiot. I'm the drunk no matter what 63 says.
easyI have a question. As a fan, how does one make a distinction like this? I mean, giving an A to preparation but a D-- to in-game calls means you have a pretty damn strong opinion about both. But...how exactly can a fan tell? I mean, I understand judging the overall results of a play or a game, but when a play goes bad, how do you distinguish between a play blowing up because of preparation versus an in-game call? How do you know whether it was a mid-week plan or a mid-game adjustment, unless you are listening in on the communication headphones? I'm not challenging, I am just asking. How do you do that?
