Well cant say I am not disaoppointed but you guys played well. Game went pretty much how I fugured it would. Turnovers made the difference. Go get the Ravens!!

Good Game Rmilia1, can't speak for anyone else, but for me the first Qtr was pain and suffering to witness for me... I couldn't believe ATL was jumping out the way they did plus getting that TD at the end of the 2nd half...

Offensively, we woke up or just weared out the Falcons D, and it was the flipside on how this game started.

49ers made 2 good stops and got one very lucky/fortunate fumble that proved to be the kicker since Akers is doing everything possible to screw us and Crabs fumbled at the 1.

Good game and I'm pretty excited, but it was not easy... Falcons could've came through though... it was too close for my sanity.

I was disappointed that we didnt take more shots down the field in the 2nd half. The OL held up better than even I figured they would. Seems like we had time to take some more shots but chose not to.

matt ryan is a good qb, but every big game he seems to turn it over. u guys need a running back that can close games out too.

TOP also played a big part, once the niners O started rolling, they were eating clock and gaining yards... that would factor against Ryan and the O.

The pass rush wasn't there all game but got a little better/closer in the 4th... Plus Brooks hit on Ryan may have altered his ability throw?

Thanks, as a longtime 49er fan with plenty of NFC Championship disappointments in my memory, I feel your pain. I feel like you guys are close and it really did come down to the last series by the Falcons.

Nah Matt Ryan needs a defense that can hold a 3 score lead. Ryan is not even close to the reason the Falcons lost. If not for Ryan the Falcons are not even in a position to win that game. The Falcons have just spent so much of their efforts and money on that offense that they have a weak defense.

24 points was enough to beat the Niners in two games since Kaep took over (StL and Seattle, both very good defenses).

Even with Smith at QB we only scored less than 24 3 times. In 18 games this year, 24 points would have beat SF 5 times. You can't expect 24 to be enough.

He did worse than disengage. He turned the ball over twice. Once was maybe the dumbest play I've ever seen in a NFC Championship game behind Kyle Williams' would-be dodging of the punt.
